(Closed) Anybody else bite their nails and want to stop before their wedding?

@Whitwhit1689:  To have fake for your wedding I would do it.  You can’t go wrong with having a professional do your nails.  I would have them put on a few months before so you can get used to having them and figure out what length you want, plus you can build a relationship with your manicurist so they know what you like.  I will probably get gels again before my wedding and keep them on until after my best friends wedding which is 2 months after mine.

I go through phases with biting mine. Right now they look atrocious but 2 months ago they were long & I loved them. It always starts with one breaking….it’s like a death sentence for my nails lol When I’m trying to grow them out I paint them clear. If I feel like chewing on them, I just chew the nail polish off. I don’t tend to do it as much because the nail polish tastes really gross lol

@Whitwhit1689:  I don’t know for sure if a shellac will help or not, but when I stopped biting mine, just the mere knowledge that I had a nice manicure was enough to stop me. Or stop me mid-bite. Shellacs are pretty durable though, but I find after 2 weeks they start to get weaker.
