Omg, yes. I’m still getting over it, though what’s left is just the annoying stuff like a cough and some sinus drainage. Last week was HORRIBLE, though – I reallllly feel for you.

@sleepingbeauty88: Is THAT what I have??

I have everything except the nausea, but I do have a complete lack of appetite (which is very odd for me).

Sore throat, sinus pressure, cough that ranges from very productive to choking and dry, feeling feverish but having no temp. I am RIGHT there with you.

I’ve been sick for a week already. Slowly starting to feel better today though (which is good since Darling Husband and I are hosting a Christmas party at our place tomorrow).

GAH!  Yes, I had it but I’m mostly over it.  Every now and then when I wake up in the morning I have some residual chest congestion but a hot shower & a good coughing fit takes care of that.  Mucinex is your friend!  …and hot tea πŸ™‚

Yes, I’ve had that since about a week before Thanksgiving. I went to the doctor and got antibiotics, but it came back when those were done… so I went back this last week and got more, along with a few other medicines. It’s working so far, we’ll see if it gets rid of it completely…

The over the counter stuff I’m taking is Sudafed and Mucinex, but the prescriptions I got are probably doing the most to get rid of it.

@sleepingbeauty88: Oh God, that sounds terrible. I’m taking an expectorant cough syrup to help get all the mucus out, so hopefully I’ll be spared that.

Maybe the bug lost it’s “nausea” component when it hopped across the pond from the US to the UK.

Yes, I had it a few weeks ago right before we left for vacation. Started out as an extremely sore throat and I thought I had strep. Then it just turned into a bad cold. I did have a slight fever as well. It sucked!

i’ve had bronchitis twice this year already which started as a sore throat. no flu syptoms though. go get some hydrocodone cough syrup (love that stuff, really helps you get some sleep) and some antibiotics, it will fix ya right up πŸ™‚

It went around my section. In two people it developed into full blown bronchitis, I got the sore throat, nausea, sinus fun. Darling Husband somehow missed out.

In the process I found Ny-Qyl is such a bad idea for me unless I go to bed right away. I go into full on twitches (DH said it was like I was on speed)

Yes!!  I’ve had it for about 3 days now and I’m ready for it to go away!  I feel like I have mono almost…really tired and lethargic, and then add in the congestion and crap like that.  FI is over here freezing and I’m in shorts and a tshirt, but no fever.

I hope you feel better soon!!

I had those symptoms for 2 weeks but with a fever of 102 for 48-72 hours. It actually turned into pneumonia; worst 2-3 weeks I’ve had in awhile.
