I’m totally in love with my ring, it was shocking coming here and seeing all these giant stones of these gorgeous rings, and even though I wouldn’t change mine for the world, it certainly does look a bit out of place in those threads! Anyone else rocking a small stone? I think my ring is .5 ct total, with the center stone being 1/8. I’d love to see pictures of you’re gorgeous rings!

mingogo4 : I think it is gorgeous and looks great on your hand! There are tons of bees with dainty smaller rings. I am sure they will be here soon with some gorgeous bling 😀

I love your ring! It’s one of my favorite styles actually. Sorry no ring to share yet here lol.

I love the style of your ring! The design is so pretty and unique.
I have a .4ct equivalent ruby and a .23ct champgane diamond halo on a size 4.25:

Splodge2003 : Ohh I love the ruby! It is stunning next to those diamonds. And halos are my favorite type of rings! Gorgeous!

This is my half carat on almost a size nine! When I first joined the bee I was a little envious of all the bigger beauties but I realised quickly that mine is perfect for me and honestly I’m so glad my amazing fiancé knows me better than I do 😂

I think these threads distort the norm. I believe the average in the uk to be .25
an it’s only us geeks that know about specs.
Some beautiful rings here.

UK-bee : Also here in Germany, don’t see too many folks with a ring over even half a carat. (usually not even close to that.)
Many many people don’t even have an engagement ring with a stone here. There is also the quaint tradition of being proposed to with a wedding band, which you wear on your non-marriage finger (which varies according to region) and you move it onto your wedding band hand when you take your vows.
So my eyes pop out when I see all of the ginormous rings here. I love them and I think large diamonds rings are extremely beautiful, but definitely not for everyone and not the norm everywhere 🙂

My center is a tad over .5 and I love it!

dcsonlygurl : it is, thank you! I love it too!
And I really love a lot of these rings! I’m not very into solitaires (can you tell my fiancé knows me very well by my ring, haha) but a lot of you ladies sporting these dainty gorgeous ones is making me think twice about them! Beautiful! And thank you for sharing!

mingogo4 : you ring is gorgeous! I love the rose gold! Are the side stones diamonds or something else? They look champagne. Your ring makes me thing of the movie A Midsummer Nights Dream for some reason.
here’s mine, around 1/4 ct total with a .2 ct center. I love my ring, I’m personally not a fan of overly large stones, I just don’t like the look and I can’t stand anything sticking high off my finger. My promise ring that I wore for years was maybe .05 total (10 tiny stones) but the style was like a catherdral and I still caught it on things quite often and one time my cat tried to bite it off, lol. I’m super clumsy and never remove my ring so I absolutely love how flat my e-ring is, a rarely bump it on anything.
