Ah, Sir Matthew…such a hottie! I’m waiting for Darling Husband to watch the new episodes with me.  I can’t wait!  Though, I’m kind of bummed that there is soo many spoilers on the internet.  Sheesh.

@mnp:  Erm… He’s not a “Sir”.

I’ve seen the whole series and the Christmas special… so I won’t say anything.

Just finished the third season and the Christmas special and I need the rest of the world to catch up because OMFG.

I’m obsessed with the Crawleys.

I’m 4 episodes into season 1.  The costuming alone is worth watching the show for.  And I love all the juicy little dramas.  DH can’t stand it because he doesn’t care for the big fuss they make over the smallest things, (like a footman having an undone seam).

Love, love, Loved Season 1

Meh about Season 2

Just saw ep1 of Season 3. I loved it, but think Matthew was being a stubborn idiot!

I just started watching last week and am already all caught up.  I LOVE this show.  Maggie Smith is phenomenal.

I like how most of the characters are flawed.  I don’t 100% love them nor do I 100% hate them.  The few exceptions are Anna, Carson, and Mrs. Hughes.

I just wish they would make Mary a bit more interesting.  Currently, I find her annoying and useless.  She’s not really passionate about anything (besides herself).  I feel liks she’s supposed to come off as clever/witty and a bit firery, but I just don’t feel it.  She ends up coming off as a bit bland and uninteresting.

Huh, I didn’t know people in the States watch it. I thought it was just us Brits until I saw an Italian version in Milan. Didn’t think it was so widespread! am also avert much addicted. Hate what they did to Mathew though. Months only will I miss his character, but the whole thing was so stupid and unrealistic! Especially after what they did to Sybill. I’m saying no more

@RunsWithBears:  I’ve never really liked her and always assumed she was meant to come across as a spoiled, selfish, bored lady of privilege who hasn’t quite found her place in the world. At least Sybill and Edith had the gumption to move on.
