How about a kinda reply? I got business cards from Zazzle and either included them with the Christmas cards or just handed them out. Really cute kitty bride and groom on them, the Save-The-Date Cards and the url of the web site. Folks said they liked ’em.

I’m just sending invites but the only people coming from out of state are my FI’s parents and my sister so they already know about the wedding.  There are others from out of town but we aren’t that close to them anyways.

We’ve been engaged for about 4 years so everyone already knows because they won’t stop hassling us about it. So we are just doing super cute (expensive) invites from Minted. However, I just received a STD from some friends of ours and now I’m super excited to see what else they are doing.

We basically had to e-mail people to get their postal addresses, so we just told them in that e-mail when our wedding was.  After that, sending out Save-The-Date Cards just seemed silly.

we will only be engaged for 9 months total, so we figured there was no need for Save the Dates.

We’re not sending them. I felt it was kind of unnecessary for us.

Okay I totally read this title after watching a tv show that focused on the other type of STD’s, and I was like, “WHAAAAAT?” haha.

We will be sending them out, mainly because we’re getting married on a long weekend, and we do have a lot of family out of town that would have to fly in. I can totally get that if it’s a more local wedding, they wouldn’t be needed, but unfortunately that wouldn’t work for us 🙁

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!  Apparently I forgot what website I was on…I was thinking “I don’t have a Sexually Transmitted Disease”!! It must be time for bed because clearly my brain isn’t working right.

But to answer your question…we didn’t send STD 🙂

    Hi,

We didn’t post out Save-The-Date Cards, instead we emailed them out a year to the day from our wedding. We are trying to keep the cost down so email was the best option for us. We just designed a pretty attachment type thing & sent it electronically. Parents told older family members who don’t use email.
