So I’m currently staying with my parents and I guess last night I got out of bed, unlocked my door, took my sweats off and went into my parents bathroom and start taking things out of their cupboards and reorganizing them in my underwear. I honestly don’t believe them because I have NO memory of this but they have no reason to lie to me.
I always lock my bedroom door and when I got up this morning it was still locked so I’m kind of scared right now. And embarrassed about the whole ‘in my underwear thing.’ I woke up dressed just like when I went to bed.
Anybody experience this/ or know how to prevent this?
I currently sleep with a sleep mask on because I do sleep with my eyes open on occasions.

@Pear85: I’m a sleep walker and sleep talker! Usually people outgrow it but I find that I do it most often when I’m stressed. Have you been under a lot of stress lately?

I’m a sleep talker as well and it comes up most of the time when I’m stressed.

@Pear85: I agree with @ThinkingOutLoud: I usually do stuff like this (and have horrible night terrors) when I’m really stressed out.
Worrying about it won’t help anything, try to just laugh it off and move on. (I KNOW that is so hard) Hopefully it was a one time thing!!!

My Fiance sleepwalks on occasion and I find the best way to stop him is to say his name and tell him to go to bed.
“FI, go to bed.”
As for YOU, less stress and more restful sleep is probably your best bet. Start exercising a little bit every day (I do 10 minute YouTube videos and it helps a lot), go to bed earlier and don’t stay on the computer late (the light keeps your brain awake).
