Just out of curiosity, any bees here have a smaller ring finger on their dominant hand? I thought it was so bizarre, I am right handed and I recently took my RHR in to have the band repaired and resized. When the sales associate measured my ring finger on my right hand it came out to be a size 6. My left hand is a 6.5 so I was terribly confused and I was convinced that she’d measured me wrong.
I got a call that the ring was ready and went in today to pick it up, and to my surprise it fit perfectly. Then I put it on my left hand (just to be sure) and I could hardly get it off! I don’t have any hobbies or anything I can think of that would cause the size discrepancy, and I’d always heard that the dominant hand is the larger one. So I wanted to see if I am really a weirdo, or if there’s other ladies out there with the same issue. 🙂

@WhiteLotus: Mine’s the opposite lol, my right hand (dominant) is bigger. My ring fits perfect on my left hand, but gets stuck on my right hand.

@WhiteLotus: My ring fingers are the same size, but my middle finger is definitely a little bigger on my dominant hand.

Me! I’m a lefty and my left ring finger is half a size smaller as well (5.5 compared to 6)

Same as PP! I’m left handed, and my Engagement Ring doesn’t fit on my right ring finger. At least not comfortably! There is definite squeezing and twisting involved to get it off, if I get stupid and ram it on the wrong hand “just to see if it fits there.”

Yep, 6 on the left (dominant) and 6.5 on the right.

@WhiteLotus: Well mine is the opposite. My right ring finger is bigger than my left by about 1/2 size or so. You’re not weird lol I’m right handed.

Not me I am at least a full size bigger on every finger on my dom hand

My dominant hand fingers are all a 1/4 to 1/2 size larger!

Sweet, so I’m still uncommon but at least there’s three of you so far who seem to be weird like me. 😉 Anybody else? Anyone ever have problems from it? (I’m thinking of something like a claddagh ring that has a different meaning depending on how you wear it and which finger, you could never switch it if you got engaged without having it resized.)

@pharmy: Same with my hands

My left hand is dominant and it’s a full size smaller than my right hand. Sucks because I have to buy rings specifically for each hand and can’t really switch between.

my dominant hand (left hand) is smaller. I can’t even get my e-ring onto my right hand ring finger.

I’m generally right-handed (but can do most things with my left easily) and my ring finger on the left is smaller, probably by a quarter size. Incidentally, the fingers on my right hand are noticeably shorter than the fingers on my left…
