I don’t know what it is, but every single nail salon I’ve ever been to – in upstate NY, California, Paris – they always comment  that I look 15. This happens nearly every time without fail. I’m 26.

At least my looks will pay off a lot more when I’m in my 40s and 50s.

I am 32 and always get comnents and still get carded anytime I order a drink.  Woe is me right? One time the UPS guy questioned my age for a package I was signing for when I was 30!  Seriously!?   Apparently you have to be 18 to sign.  I laughed and laughed about that one.

At 29 I get carded EVERY TIME I buy a drink, and at times for even entering a bar. I actually wasn’t allowed in a bar once because they felt my ID was fake…THAT was about the only time I was upset over it.

People are always shocked when I say I’m 27. Of all the “first world problems” this is the best to have 🙂

Most people say I’m 21 while I just turned 28.

They’re always suprised when I say that I’m out of college and have a full-time job !

Oh well, that’ll pay off when we’re older and still look younger than we are ! 😉

I’m glad I’m not the only one! I am 26 and very petite. I have a 7 year old daughter and I once was mistaken for a student at her elementary school. I live in a community where pregnant teens on young mothers on government help is more common than not. I have been approached in a negative manner several times by women assuming their tax dollars are supporting us. (I own my own home, have a local gov job, pay for everything myself, etc..) When I meet people one of their first questions is “How old are you?” “You look SO young!” “You do NOT look 26” Strangers that knock on the door ask “Is your mom home?”  – I even had local law enforcement ask if I’d be interested in being peophile bait! I know that most people mean well, but it gets old quick. This thread made me feel better!!!

I don’t (I’m a crinkle old banger) but my sister does. She got married at 22 and the week before the wedding went to the corner shop to get an energy drink. They wouldnt let her coz you have to be 16 or over. She has also had trouble buying wallpaper scrapers from DIY stores coz you have to be 16 to buy those too and she was really angry like ‘I’m 23, married and bought my own house 5 years ago. Let me have the scraper’. But you don’t bring your ID out with you to buy a RedBull or home supples so…nothing going.I tell her it’s a good thing coz she looks beautiful and young where as I look about 20 years older than her (and I’m onl 3 older) but it upsets her.

Wehn she was pregnant 23-24-ish people used to come up to her and look sad, ask her if she was OK and how she’d got herself into the mess, or peopel tsking at her with her buggy like she was an early teenagemother. I think thats a it too much where as being ID’d is a bit annoying/inconveniencing it is a compliament too but peopel saying youre too young to have a baby…well that’s just a bit rude!

My sister will be 32 soon and has been a faithful Oil of Olay Age Defy product user since she was 13.  She’s also 5’1.

During my wedding weekend my ring bearers (age 7 and 9) were extremely confused why on earth my sister was driving a car — they thought she was 15 at best.  They thought my Jr. Bridesmaid or Best Man was 20ish (she’s 13 and 5’9).

My sister is also carded all the time and LOVES it….I think I need to go grab some of what she’s using..

I’m 27 and a teacher…I put up my “school picture” on facebook as a joke and people thought it was my high school picture! I don’t mind so much…I just keep thinking how nice it will be when I’m 50 and look 35.

FI’s grandma asked me how old I would be this year, and remarked that I looked 20. Awesome.

YES. We were at Disney, celebrating one year of marriage and we had on one of those “Happy Anniversary” buttons. A worker said “congrats!” then kind of shook his head and said, “so young…”  WE’RE 26!!!!!!!!!!!!! GEEZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But, like PPs have said, I hope to still have this problem when I get older!!

I’m 27 and everyone thinks i’m 17. i get I.D everywhere, can’t even buy 18 DVDs in the supermarket. I HATE it! i dread being pregnant because people will asumme i’m a teenager. Also, my DH who is 24 and looks young for his age is now looking older than me, he’s aging and i’m just not 🙁

the only upside is when salesmen knock on my door and ask if my parents are in, i say no and they leave lol
