We really want to honeymoon there. I found a good price at Club Med (all-inclusive), but don’t know much about the resort. Has anyone been there? We want laid back beach with snorkeling, nice meals, and relaxing nights. (we’re not clubbing people, so at night we want to sit on the beach with a drink, look at the stars, and maybe have some strolling guitarists around).
Any other hotel recommendations for Turks and Caicos? We want to spend around $4000 total!

When I visited Turks and Caicos we went on a dive trip that left from the Bohio Dive Resort, and although I did not get to spend the night there, this is probably the most beautifully situated and romantic place I have even seen in my life. Ever since I went I have been dying to go back. You won’t get the ‘big resort’ feeling of Club Med, but in my mind that is a good thing. Bohio is small and gorgeous and has a geniune island feel that you just do not get at big resorts. You can pretty much have the beach all to yourself, they have a good tiki bar, and their conch fritters are out of this world.

we went for a wedding last year and stayed at the Regent Palms. It was such a beautiful resort and the pool area was really nice. Would definitely recommend.

I went about 10 years ago and we stayed next to the club med actually at the ocean club resort. I was a teenager then, but I remember wanting to go next door to club med. It was like a 15+ aged resort. For some reason I remember wanting to go over there quiet a bit – to hang out. I think there was a lot going on there. It may have changed since then – but I remember seeing the trampolines and circus-like stuff that club med had….
I will say however the beach right there in front of those two resorts was AMAZING. It is still to this day one of my favorite beaches in the world – but I guess that is exactly what turks and caicos is known for!
Here are some candid reviews for the club med:
Ocean club was wonderful. We had a beach front condo and the pool was amazing. There wasn’t much going on there though -more of a quiet resort though (hence why me as a teenager wanted to go next door). You can find other hotel reviews here:
