Hey bees, I need your help!
A close friend of mine is getting married later this year and we are in the beginning stages of planning a Vegas bachelorette… and none of us have ever been! So we are a bit clueless.
Have any of you been to vegas before? I need help finding the best deal possible for hotels and flights. Are there any specific websites where you were able to find good package deals?
Also- do you have any tips of where or where not to stay? Or what to do there?
Thanks a bunch!

I was there a few weeks ago and had a blast! We avtually stayed in one of thr less fancy hotels ( like a days inn or something) and saved a ton! We figured we wouldnt really be spending a lot of time in the room so we didnt care. And you can go through ALL of the other hotels and casinos and stuff. Advice: take some comfortable shoes! Theres a lot to do and see, but we walked up and down the strip and went into bars and casinos and shopping malls and my poor feet were torn up by the end of the weekend.

We always drive so idk about flights but if you’re goin cheap Excalabur is usually super cheap. I loved going on a party bus and a bachelor party was on the same one as,us so that was pretty awesome. I think it would awesome if you took her to Thunder from Down Under, my sister liked them more than Chippendales because they interacted with the crowd more but you cant go wrong with either. Last we went to a resteraunt called Dicks, you should go there if you like to joke around and dont mind being picked on or dirty jokes. If you have any questions feel free to pm me 🙂

Zumanity the “adult-themed” Cirque du Soleil would be a fun B-weekend thing to do IMO. But I love anything Cirque.
I like to use Kayak.com for flights. You can search hotels too. Hotels.com is pretty good too and you can save up for a free room.
All in all it’s Vegas, you can’t not have fun there no matter what.

Are you looking for good parties? Or more of shows and dinners? Personally, I would stay at the Cosmopolitan or Planet Hollywood or, off the strip, at Hard Rock or Palms. I also like Venetian or Caesars. Those hotels tend to have the most action. Mandalay Bay is nice too but it’s all the way at the end so it’s annoying.

i’ve been to Vegas!! Only for 2 days but still.
Victoria’s Secret is in Caesar’s Palace!
You can get a hummer with stripper pole inside and pole dance as the hummer drives up and down the strip 😀

Cosmopolitan is a great choice for your hotel stay depending on how much you’re looking to spend. A really chic, fun hotel with great restaurants right in the middle of the action. There are plenty of other good options too though.

@mrswestcoast: I had my bachelorette weekend in Vegas plus I have been there plenty if times before.. If you don’t want to spend a lot of money for hotel, sign up online through the hotels website and they will email you discounts.. 20% off or 25% off depending on hotel.. Luxor is nice and bit expensive. Mandalay bay is really nice, bellagio, monte Carlo are nice.. You can have a spa day with the girls.. Also we rented a cabana by the pool and hung out..there are a lot of nightclubs to choose from too.

@mrswestcoast: Love the Bellagio and the Wynn. You can usually find good deals for the Wynn if you look hard enough. Bellagio is a bit more expensive but worth it IMO. I love the fountains!! Definitely try to stay somewhere on the strip.
You can take a bus or cab to the “old strip” – Fremont Street.. it’s really fun. It’s basically the old Vegas you see in older movies/TV shows.
It’s fun to walk the strip and go into all the hotels. I thought it was a weird concept until I actually got there. I’ve been there 3x now. Shopping is really good.. I love the Coke store, M&Ms store… Forum Shops.. basically you can find anything you want, including high end designer clothes/bags/jewelry. Something for everyone!
Tons of good restaurants too.
Ah I love Vegas.

I’d stay on the strip if you can! When I went with girlfriends we stayed at Planet Hollywood and it was a great location to walk up and down the strip. Plus, we got a free upgrade to a nicer room with a great view becuase we mentioned it was someones birthday.
We walked to other hotels for drinks/and pool fun, but rented a stretch hummer limo with a stripper pole in it to escort us to clubs one night!.. So fun.
Costco.com has some good Vegas deals if you have a membership.

Oooh! I’ve been going to Vegas for 16 years, lol, and I’m STILL not 21. lol. BUT I HAVE attended a bachelorette party there actually, because Chippendales is 18+. Vegas is AMAZING. We’ve stayed at a few places, whatever you do, STAY ON THE STRIP (unless you want the fremont experience). Use the crap out of priceline bidding and hotwire, or travelzoo and aim for at least a four star (three stars in Las Vegas can get a little iffy, because hotel prices are inexpensive in general). Planet Hollywood and MGM are probably the most “fun” and young. Caesars Palace and the Bellagio are amazing classics though, as is the Wynn. Depending on what time of the year you go, you can get some AMAZING deals, ESPECIALLY if you avoid weekends and go during the week. I got a groupon email today actually with several Vegas hotel/entertainment offers. Oooh, yeah, groupon for bar crawls and shows and stuff is GREAT. Get a hotel with good pool is a must if you’re going during a warmer month. I personally would NOT stay at the Circus Circus or the Excalibur, or the Imperial Palace, also the stratosphere is really fun for thrill rides, but REALLY too far up North to walk the Strip, Mandalay Bay and Luxor are a little south, but they have a tram that runs every 5 minutes(? might be less) to take you further up. If you don’t have to stay on the Strip, the Palms is the best choice (Gilt always has good deals on the Palms).
If you need anything (like water or ibuprofen late at night), which is always likely, there is only ONE Walgreens open 24 hours on the northern side of the strip, hotels close to that are slightly preferable too.
As far as flights go? Just Kayak.com it, it’s how I’ve always found the cheapest flights (not sure about Vegas, I live within a four hour driving distance).
Most importantly, HAVE FUN. 🙂
Edit: Priceline and Hotwire are the best typically, but sometimes Kayak will have just as good deals shown to you, if you need help pricelining or figuring out what hotels they are on hotwire, just PM me 🙂
