Between these styles I prefer the solitaire, which is unusual for me.

I will also say before anyone else does (and they will) that you can get a setting made for far less by any number of Jewelers mentioned on the Bee. $3400 is a pretty steep price for such a simple design. Are you planning on going with the Forever Brilliant like you linked or the Forever One? The FB has been discontinued by C&C I believe, but you can still find them through other sources. Other Bees will chime in with their expertise because I am no expert, and they can tell you the differences.

I am also planning on an 8mm/2carat center stone in a cushion halo. I plan on getting an Amora Gem center stone and have the setting made by David Klass. Etsy is also a great place to look for C&C rings and I bet you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the prices.

Just my 2 cents, but you have to go with your gut! If you love Helzberg and their work and prices, then I say go for it!

My boyfriend of 14 years was orginally going to buy this exact same halo ring from Helzberg but found the exact ring on Overstock for less than half the price! I’ve had the ring since 2016…..I wear it 24/7 with absolutely no issues.  The ring is on sale right now for under $400.

rinzlove :  Every time I see a Forever Brilliant it catches my eye. If it didn’t have the issues with turning green or yellow in certain lighting etc, I think I’d prefer it over the F1.

FWIW, I got pricing from Lauren B too (her designs are amazing) and it was over double what David Klass will charge for the setting. Yikes! I’ll be going with 14k white gold, but still! Very very expensive. I actually had them price a loose stone too (Harro elongated cushion) and it was twice the price of ordering through Harro directly. I think it was about $2,400 JUST for the stone.

If you had a custom setting made, a colorless 8mm F1 loose from Fire & Brilliance will run $775. I hear they’re great to work with too if you wanted them to do the setting instead of just getting the loose stone. They also have a lot of stock pieces too you might like!

There are definitely a TON of options out there! I think I’ve gotten quotes from nearly 20 Jewelers and I keep going back to David Klass, so when we get the funds I’ll be using him without a doubt.

I got a 6.5 mm F1 Moissanite halo from Helzberg along with 2 1/4 ct diamond bands. I was reluctant to use Helzberg because reviews weren’t very favorable. They were having a sale, and we were able to get all 3 rings plus my husband’s ring and a service plan on each ring for $3400. My husband was drawn in by the sale and their service plan.

rinzlove :  I have only had my rings a little over a month, so they are still super sparkly. I really do love them, but I hated having to wait 2 weeks to have them sized. The sales lady originally said it wouldn’t be good to size down from a 7 to a 5 and said she’d order them in a 5. When we finally decided to go ahead with the purchase the following week, she said it would be fine to size them down. I was put off by that, but my husband didn’t think it mattered. When we picked up our rings, my husband’s was OVAL shaped! Luckily they were able to fix it right there. I had read a lot of negative reviews about their craftsmanship, so I wasn’t surprised. Mine were fine though. So far, so good!
