I just started charting this cycle so I have little experience but from the charts I have seen and read about, it doesn;’t look like you are ovulating. My temps have gone up and down quite a bit this month (similiar to yours) and the OPK’s have shows the same thing my charts have shown, I have still not ovulated.

It really doesn’t look like you’ve been ovulating.  Are you recently off of birth control? Your body may still be regulating.  Some people snap right back into a regular cycle, but it can take several months for others.  I also think that it’s strange that you spotted for so many days last cycle, is that normal for you?

Looks like anovulation to me. 🙁 If you have had this problem for a few months in a row, it wouldn’t hurt to bring it up to your doctor, especially if you have other symptoms of PCOS.

@anotherbee: It might be that you are still regulating, definitely. You should be able to figure that out in the next couple months. If you are still not ovulating at 6 months, I would see a doctor for IF testing and treatment. That 1 year guideline is for couples that don’t have any apparent IF issues.

Here’s a good list of PCOS symptoms. It’s the most common cause of female infertility. You don’t have to have all the symptoms to have PCOS. My symptoms are anovulation (and thus, infertility), minor hair growth on my chin and belly, weight gain in the abdomen, and borderline insulin resistance. I don’t present with cysts, acne, heavy periods or thinning  hair.

@anotherbee: I just started accupuncture for my fertility issues and have been reading that many swear by accupuncture to help regulate cycles, help you ovulate, etc. It’s worth a look!

@anotherbee: If I were not ovulating, I wouldn’t wait very long before getting a consultation.  You might want to make an appt now for Feb (since OBs sometimes have long waits) so that everything is all set when you really want to start trying.

It’s really impossible to say why it’s happenening each month but a doctor should be able to figure it out. Good luck : )
