We went to Destin, FL. It was great because there weren’t a ton of people around since it was October and we drove so we didn’t have to worry about getting to the airport.

Vegas. We stayed at the Aria and spent time lounged at the pool. We saw a couple shows and ate at a few different places. I loved it. We are that kind of couple.

Travel Nut here…

Mr TTR and are are semi-retired, so we are blessed with more time off than a lot of Bees.  We have just returned from our Honeymoon and it was FANTASTIC.  We spent 5 weeks on a combined vacation that emcompassed our Christmas Holidays – Winter Getaway – and Wedding & Honeymoon

It was primarily a Road Trip … that took us thru 1 Province – 14 States – and 8 Countries (our primary focus being the US South and a Cruise).  It was an AMAZING once in a lifetime experience.

To break it down spent 1 Week in Myrtle Beach, SC – 1 Week exploring the Mississippi Blues Delta from Memphis, TN to New Orleans – 1 Week in Florida… including The Keys where we were married – and 1 Week on a Caribbean Cruise

TO @inky_1:  – The Keys are fabulous… a touch of the Caribbean right here in the USA.

TO @peachbaby4008: – The Keys don’t really have a lot of beach… because they are encircled by an incredible reef, and therefore the ocean doesn’t ebb and tide and deposit sand on the shoreline of these islands.  That said there are a few spots where you’ll either find short expanses of natural beach… OR where Hotels / Resorts have brought in some sand for a man-made beach.  If you want some help or more info, you can always drop me a PM

@lealorali: – LOVE Maine.  Kennebunkport is lovely.  Late June and the weather should be great… but WARNING… the ocean will be freezing !!  The ocean here doesn’t warm up until August.  In truth, the ocean rarely is very warm north of Cape Cod, MA… which is favourite beach Destination in August (due to Nantucket Sound and the Gulf Stream)

@xlsm:  – NOLA rocks !!  We loved the city when we visited recently.  We will certainly be going back again in the future.

We really really want to go out west. We live on the East Coast and I’ve never been out there. My fiance has a few times, but there are things he hasn’t seen. So, we’re trying to figure out where to go and how to do it. If anyone has a good suggestion let me know. We really need to be economical, but I can’t say I’m interested in spending the majority of the time camping…for once in my life I don’t want to sleep in a tent on vacation, stay in a hostel, or rough it in any way. I love doing this, but just this once can I get some pampering up in here?

We would like to go to some mountains/hot springs, do some hiking, stuff like that.
