louise23:  For the record though, I don’t think that young indiscretions make someone a bad boy.  My fiance got into some youthful troubles – he was arrested once and was a bit of a pothead as a youth and it took him about 8 years to get through college – but that doesn’t make him a bad boy.  He was always kind and compassionate and like most people, he eventually grew up – fortunately before I met him.

I married a good guy. Was riding a motorcycle, sporting a few tattoos, and talking about his guitar when we met, but ended up being a super nice guy with a stable career path who prioritizes family and enjoys running and playing with our cat. Has an attractive “edge,” but has all the qualities you want in someone you build a life with. Works for me.

redheadedstranger:  That’s exactly my future husband! I’ve dated “good” boys and they were so easy to take the power from it was BORING. My guy had a wild youth and is a tattooed, motorcyle driving, rough around the edges Marine with a loyal heart of gold.

I can’t do “nice” but I’m not for criminal record beat their SO “bad” guys either. I know what I wanted and I am happy to say I got it 🙂
