Just want to see what other’s experiences are. I’ve been to Vegas twice and both with my Boyfriend or Best Friend and we aren’t partiers/drinkers so we didn’t hit any clubs. We did the touristy stuff like go through all the casionos. Bachelorette party isn’t until next year and it’s probably going to be about 5 girls going. Where should we go for the parties and clubs? I’m not looking to get shit faced but a few of my friends do love to drink. Although I love to dance!
Hopefully the guys will do their bachelor party at the same time so we won’t have to fly and they can drive us down there Oddly none of us girls drive.

My bff got married last year and I, along with her other bff, planned her bachelortte party in Vegas. It was ridiculously fun! On the first night, we went to Marquee at the Cosmopolitan and had a great time. We went in April so the weather was perfect, we stayed outdoors and were promptly invited to join a bachelor party in their cabana. The dudes were PLENTY respectful and friendly and very generous with their alcohol, we definitely would never take advantage but our groups meshed well so we had a great time. If you have the energy, I hear the dayclubs are awesome too. We didn’t do those, we tried to save our energy for the clubs at night. I was able to book a dinner and bottle service package for all us at the Wynn. We had dinner at Andrea’s and it was phenomenal!! And then we were escorted over to our own table at Surrender which is right next door and an outdoor club. I worked with an event planner and was able to get it fairly priced for both. Everything was paid for before we arrived and the service was exceptional. They even had some personalized things for the bride, which made it extra special. I made sure it worked with everyone’s budget, it was pricey but so worth it for Vegas! We’ve gone other times and have hit up a bunch of different clubs. Basically, you can’t go wrong. Expect the clubs to be packed though. Tryst and LAVO are fun too. Lavo is smaller. The guys also did the grooms bachelor party the same weekend but my husband, who was the best man, rented an awesome house off the strip for them to enjoy. They did dude stuff like play videogames and went to a nice dinner followed by a strip club! They had a blast and we did too. It was everything we hoped it would be for our bff’s!

I had my bachelorette party in Vegas in June 2012 and it was SO MUCH FUN. We seriously had an amazing time. MY sister and Maid/Matron of Honor planned the whole thing. We stayed at the Cosmopolitan and pretty much stayed there the whole weekend except when we went to see Thunder from Down Under in Excalibur which was HILARIOUS. Not really my thing but some of my girlfriends absolutely LOVED it. It was entertaining watching the 50 yo+ ladies going nuts at the front. We went to Marquee club during the day and one night and both times had SO much fun. Honestly you just have to go with it and know there are some douchy people in Vegas but overall it was awesome. We didn’t pay for a single drink the entire weekend because guys who rent out cabanas have to spend a minimum 2k on bottle service so they want to have girls with them. Well it worked out well for us, lol. If you’re there with just girls you will not have a problem with drinks or anything. And there is no need to just drink a ton either. We spent so much time dancing at the day and night club and had such a blast. Went to several of the restaurants in the Cosmo and they were all really good. I thought the Cosmo was a perfect place for our group tons to do and not CRAZY expensive. Hope This Helps.

None of the girls have their driver license? Not trying to be judgmental but what???
okay, for Vegas. If you want to club call promoters. Most give free tables with cheap vodka (Skye, we have plenty of free bottles in the liquor cabinet) for bachlorette parties. Not bachlor though. Omnia and Hakkasan are the hottest clubs lately. Haskkasan group pushes the most money into them. Long story, not worth mentioning. My Fiance is in the club circuit and I used to be.
check lvweekly.com. They show the clubs and prices.

I went in May with 6 girls for a bachelorette. It was amazing! We drank a fair amount but didn’t do a lot of actual partying, just drinks while walking down the strip and stuff. We got really drunk on Fremont St which was a ton of fun, but for the most part we just walked around and people-watched, did some shopping, went to a burlesque show, and spent a lot of time by the pool. It was great. I wasn’t even planning on having a bachelorette for myself and now I think I might go there for mine, haha.

theatrejulia: We live in a city where public transportation is VERY convienent. I’m the only one who actually doesn’t have a driver license, they have it but never drive, don’t own a car. Having a car here is actually a hassle. $2.00/hr parking is the cheapest you will find, goes up to $14/hr when there’s a baseball game.
Guess what city I’m from!

Before you plan this, please talk to your bridesmaids about their budget, to ensure that they can actually afford this, abd aren’t feeling pressured. This sounds like a very expensive weekend. I know, i wouldn’t be able to afford it. And after hearing from some bridesmaids on this issue, it seems as though a lot of Brides don’t take the girls budgets into account.

pswtec: They are planning everything. They’ve only had to spend about $40 on their dresses so far.(My Maid/Matron of Honor was in China and got the dresses)
Plus we all play MyVegas which gives out comps. That’s pretty much the only reason we are planning to go Vegas. I actually prefer something more low key, I’m not a huge drinker/partier. It’ll probably be me being squeamish about budget, I’m the only one working full time but I’m also the most stingy about money(well duh saving for a wedding and all).
