Anyone do any big beauty treatments prior to your wedding?

The place where I get my laser hair removal does a deal on Eclipse MicroPen microneedling treatments – purchase 3, get the 4th free. So I’m considering doing that for collagen stimulation and fine line reduction.

BEEelegant :  I haven’t done any major treatments, but a coworker and I have seriously looked at cool sculpting. It does take a few months for your body to flush out the frozen fat cells, and often it takes 2 or more treatments to really notice a difference. BUT, it’s non-invasive and the recovery time is almost nil. Good luck!

I got Botox, lip fillers and a few peels but I have been doing those treatments for the last few years. Just make sure you do any big procedures long before your wedding in case you have a weird reaction or you are not happy with the results and need to fix something (especially in the case of injectibles). Cost for Botox was around 400 and lip fillers were another 350 for half a syringe. I think the peels were about 150 each. I love the results (my skin is seriously flawless) and the down time was a few days to a week (only if I bruise from the lip filler).

Also, you get what you pay for. Don’t just go to the cheapest place you can find!!!

Woops I misread and just realized you were looking for botox and the such so mine doesn’t relate.

lola5 :  Do you mind sharing what kind of peels you did, and what results you noticed?

clairhuxtable : I’m not sure exactly what kind of peel because my dermatologist customizes it depending on what each patient needs. After the treatment there is redness and peeling for up to a week but the results are so worth it. It evens skin tone, gets rid of any hyperpigmentation, smooths fine lines and improves overall texture (my makeup goes on beautifully!).

This may not really be what you’re talking about, but it’s still cosmetic… I’ll be doing teeth whitening prior.
