I am planning on doing some for my fiance, when i get in a bit better shape though πŸ™‚ The hard part for me is picking someone to do them, cause i would do my own if i could. Just dont want to fool with the remote shutter and trying to make sure the shots are in focus… lol.

I had a bride last year that printed out wallet size images and delivered them to him throughout the beginning of the wedding day. I thought this was a great way to “tease” the groom leading up to the ceremony/first look.

I think I’ll do one later this spring, but I’m in the NE so I’m going to use someone local. I know my Fiance really wants me to do one and I think he’ll love it. I probably won’t like them (because I’m pretty pudgy) but he doesn’t care and he’s the only who will see them. πŸ™‚

I’m toying with the idea. I am still working out package specifics with our photographer, and I know he does AMAZING boudoir shoots (heck that’s like half his portfolio haha), but it’s more of a comfort and confidence thing than anything else.

I love the idea of ‘teasing’ the groom atomic!

I was thinking about giving them to him as a one year anniversary gift since it’s supposed to be paper.

I did it for my fiance in midtown Atlanta as a welcome home present when he came back from his deployment and he LOVED them! I even had them put into a little black book album πŸ™‚ Surprisingly, it was a lot of fun and something I will always remember, especially 20 years from now when I can look back and be like mmhmm, I looked good lol.

Anyways, I know a couple brides that have done and it’s just a really special, intimate and personal present to give to your new husband and a great experience for you.

My photog was a girl that I had known as a friend and then I heard about how she was launching her photography business. I researched her and looked at her work and she was so talented and her prices could not be beat. When I started looking, there was no way I could afford the prices that most well-known boudoir photographers wanted but then I found out about Elle Golden Photography and it was affordable for a girl in college!

She just got married last year and did a boudoir session for her husband and she used to model, she she knows what it feels like to be in your shoes and she knows what angles and shots to go for! Plus, she’s so sweet. Every little detail is special and thought out and the finished product was amazing. We are actually using her again for our rehearsal dinner. You may know her from her blog, Miss (now Mrs) Lab!

She is based in Thomasville but will travel for a small fee. She has a flat fee to start with or you can now pick a package that includes an album. Go to her website and check out her work, you’ll love her!

O and a little tip: When thinking about where to have the session, think of a really nice hotel OR if you’ve already booked your hotel for your wedding or blocked rooms for your guests, they will allow you to use a room in their hotel FOR FREE! I booked The Georgian Terrace for my rehearsal, bridal suite, and room block and I used both of their bridal suites for 2 hours FOR FREE! The shots came out amazing and we saved some money that went towards a really nice album!

My bridesmaids and I just had a Lingerie Soirée with the photographers at CLIQ boudoir.  It was more fun then any of us thought.  They were running a special when we did it so it was real reasonable even.  I met them at a bridal show but CLIQboudoir.com is their website.  Hope that helps!  Happy weddings.  πŸ™‚

i think a lot of wedding/engagement photographers offer boudoir photos if you ask them. i know we do, but we usually don’t publish anything on our blog-site.  i would try to find someone who specializes in it though. πŸ™‚
