My budget is getting tight now and my wedding is 9 weeks away! I’m thinking of doing my own order of service, anybody DIY their order of service? Would love to see ideas, pictures or links that could help me x

@iestynsmummy: What’s an order of service? Is that like a wedding program? Sorry I’m ignorant and from the US lol.

@iestynsmummy: lol, it’s funny to see how things get lost in translation, even in the same language (although I LOVE your accents so much more). I did my own, but we’re not getting married in a church. I’ve heard that many churches will print these for you as part of the ceremony here in the US, you could check and see if your church will do that for you. I made mine out of leftover cardstock/paper from making my invites. You may also want to check marthastewartweddings.com for ideas. Hope this helps ๐

I DIYed my with leftover materials. I think I payed 20 bucks for the color printing at work. The image is a a free printable I found online (I look for the link) and I just did everything in Word. Easy peasy, used leftover baker’s twine and on the back (you can’t see it) I put little envelopes with dried lavendar that the guest thew on us as we walked back down the aisle. I was so happy with how they turned out!

@housebee: I think the church will print them out onto plain white paper (photocopied) but I wanted a nice fancy cover to go over the top. I love your design…so original! ๐ x thanks for the accent comment…my sister lives in the US in Tennesee… When I went over to visit last we stopped at NY on the way and lots of people said they loved the accent too lol x

@walking-on-sunshine: sorry I just saw this!
I got the heart from the Wedding Chicks http://www.weddingchicks.com/2012/02/16/free-heart-monogram/
our names I used etsy and got a calligrapher to just write our names
and I just did everything in Word! I’m at work right now but when I get home I’ll see if I still have the template in my computer. Do you want me to email it to you?
