I habe 6 more days left! I can’t believe we stuck this out. We took before pics and I took another today just to compare and I was shocked! I actually am starting to get some ab lines on my stomach! Those have NEVER been there in my life. Last week I had my arm out stretching, kinda flexed and I went to scratch my arm. I was like WHOA! Where did that come from! I’ve never had muscles in my arms!

I think we’re gonna take a week off and then start it all over again. We have time to get thru it one more time before the wedding!

I JUST started Insanity and I’m only on day three, but this was me yeterday. On my floor. HAHAH!!

i’d really like to get in shape NOW before i get my dress! does anyone have any tips for starting with insanity? how long do the workouts take? how many days a week?

Insanity is THE BEST!!!  I’m obsessed with this workout.  I’m a little frustrated with myself right now.  I’ve done it before but wanted to get started back up.  I did really well for three weeks, but the week of my bridal shower I just stopped.  I was so busy I just didn’t make time for it.  Now I’m all bloated and crampy so I guess I will just wait until next week to get started up again.

DH and I just started (we’re on day 3), and it really is insane. We’ve been running for weeks, but we haven’t seen nearly as big of results as we’d like (DH always has results, but it wasn’t a lot this time and nothing for me). It’s been hard, but taking the “before” pictures and measurements was extremely motivating (and upsetting, but I’m trying to focus on the motivating aspect). I started MFP too, and I realized that I was eating tons more calories than I would have ever guessed. Hopefully this combination (along with continuing to run or walk everyday) will be enough for me to actually lose weight this time!

Fi is on week 2 but he restated to be on track with me. We did recovery today. That wwasn’t to terrible but a problem I am finding is thatthere’s things I can’t do like jumping . I figured out that if I still do the movement and just “bounce” I get the same work out as fi ..I.e. getting my tail kicked with out re-injuring my knee. 🙂

@imalittlebirdie:  I have to modify some exercises too, namely the push-ups (which I’m not supposed to do after getting sub-muscular breast implants). I just use weights to work my arms during those times (I usually lunge or squat too to make sure it’s hard enough). I do everything else, so I figure it’s not making a big difference.

5 more days left!!!! I keep getting excited about that….until I remember we’re going to do it again one more time before they wedding.

My brothers did this. Both of them have lost weight but the amazing thing is the shape of their body. It’s sad that I can’t put the pictures up here but it’s amazing. I did something bad, I made a copy *cringe* and I’ve had it for a couple of weeks. I am starting the week after next because I’m going on vacation. I need to do this in addition with a meal plan though. Honestly, I’m trying to lose about 15lbs. I can’t believe how much weight I put on since my wedding. Just looking at the pictures in my recaps makes me sad. I am so tubby right now. Anyhow, for those doing insanity, do you do any other workout with it? Also, what kind of meals are you eating?? I cook a lot but I think I eat waaay more calories than I think I’m doing.

@bRooklynRocks:   I’m just using my fitness pal with it. It gives me my calories for the day and I’m set . 

As for other work outs…. If im REALLY ambitious I’ll take the dogs for a walk up the mountain. But I think the insanity is enough. Fi wanted me to run with him yesterday after the work out and I gave him the ” your out of your f-ing mind” look lol

I want to SOOOO bad! But I just can’t justify $100 on it right now! I wish there were some way to get it for cheaper. I have heard it is so much better than P90X even.
