So happy to find this thread! I just finished week one of Insanity Max 30 and I’m loving it! I did the regular Insanity from Nov. to Jan. and I’m finding I like this one better because it’s only 30 minutes!!<br />Is everyone still doing the workouts? How are you finding it a few weeks in? πŸ™‚

NovemBride1415:  I’m sad to say that I fell off at about week three. πŸ™ I hit some major work/wedding stress and completely stopped working out and eating healthy!

I’m going to try to get back on track this week. πŸ™‚ Congrats on finishing!!! You should be super proud of yourself! It is not easy. Way to go! πŸ˜€

I just started this 2 days ago and it is HARD! I’m seriously considering quitting πŸ™ I maxed out around the 5 minute mark both days BUT I was breathing so hard I thought I was going to pass out. I’m thin-ish but definitely out of shape. I quit smoking almost 3 months ago but I’m concerned that my lungs can’t take this workout. Maybe I should just follow the modifier….idk I’m feeling a little discouraged I guess.

tarabunny:  I realized that you posted a few weeks ago but dont quit. My first round i was maxing out at 6 or 7 mins on average. I’m on my second round (tomorrow is my last day of month 1) and my minimum maxout time is 12 mins and my biggest maxout time is 25mins.

I’ll agree just quitting smoking will probably have an effect on your ability to handle the intensity. But the point of the program is to do the best YOU can, not what everyone else is doing. This program is all about pushing you. If you can only do 5 mins normal and have to follow the modifier the rest of the way… that’s where you start. I guarentee you will be blowing yourself away in a few months =)
