countrygirl2009: of course! Went I went to try on dresses I started to put together an idea of what im looking for (thought the shape of these dresses is subject to change). I had one sister with me (I bought my dress while home in NJ now back where I live in Utah) so luckily she was able to try on some of them for me.
Here’s a crappy iphone photo of what I am thinking.
The mint green is a little darker than it looks in this picture (the very bottom is a better representation of the color).
Here is another when I was brainstorming. Going to be so tough to never see them on the bridesmaids together!
Im having six bridesmaids so I will need to find one additional color to the pictures of them hanging.
Hopefully everything will work out with your groomsmen being so far apart. At least mens sizing is a little more consistant than womens.

countrygirl2009: I absolutely loved my mismatched bridesmaid dresses. They were mid-length, sleevless, varying shades of light pink and I got them on asos 🙂

I let my girls pick any wine colored dress from davids bridal with lace. Some of them are out of town and they all have different body types. I wanted some sense of uniformity, but not too matchy. I don’t have a picture of them together, but here’s what they picked.
My Maid/Matron of Honor will be wearing rose gold
and here’s what everyone else will be in.

I’m doing two different colors, grey and biscotti, and two different dresses. All dresses are long. So excited!

jonandjessgetwed: WOW your girls (and you) look amazing! I did the same as you, I asked my bridesmaids to find a rose/blush coloured dress. The bling looks awesome, I kind of wish I did the same!

I originally just chose the colours (BM: fuchsia and black; Maid/Matron of Honor: black) and the ladies were to choose their dresses – the BMs both opted to buy from one collection to keep the look uniform and my Maid/Matron of Honor collaborated with them on fabric! I originally had 4 BMs and 1 Maid/Matron of Honor but a last minute change found me with 3 BMs and 2 MOHs. We had to choose a second black dress in less than two weeks. I think it turned out well!
