Mine will be “Marry Me Margaritas” because margaritas are my favorite…
fiance hasn’t picked one yet.. he wanted jack and coke but we are doing self serve from drink dispensers and don’t want the coke to go flat…
I am trying to convince him to do tenessee tea (jack, sweet tea and lemon)
any one else doing signature cocktails?

We are, and they’re very similar to yours! We’re planning to have Firefly Sweet Tea and vodka (called Savannah Hospitali-tea) and margaritas on the rocks (called Nashville Nectar). We’re naming them based on where we live. I’m on the fence about doing peach margaritas on the rocks instead of regular margaritas. The only problem is we need to have the drinks pre-made in batches, and I’m not sure that can be done with peach margaritas 🙁

Passion fruit and vodka cocktail with a champagne float. It will be called the “sehr sehr muchissimo” wich is Spanish/German for “very very very very” and is how much we say we love each other… Awwwwww… Kind of an inside joke, but the drink is delicious!!

We are doing pre-mixed drinks in mason jars. I’m not sure what we are doing yet. 2 different kinds. I’m thinking 1 will be margaritta’s, my favorite. and the other, my Maid/Matron of Honor is picking. FI is a beer drinker, so we’ll have a selection of his favorite beer.
We are having a DIY bar.

we plan to! our color is malibu blue so we plan to do a blue color drink, probably something blue raspberry (which I happen to love so it works out well!) and than Fiance loves beer so we’ll probably have a “favorite” beer of his

I am doing a signature drink for my peacock themed wedding. The drink is called “Shake Your Tail Feather” – Malibu rum, banana liqueur, and blue curacao. I think it is fitting for my wedding theme! 🙂

- Wedding: August 2013 - The Liberty House
Mine is a cocktail that my venue has on its menu- it’s called a ginger rose, and it tastes kinda like a margarita. It has ginger vodka, lime juice, and something else in it.

@Jen51287: the fun of it is the taste testing! I would start trying them all now 🙂
@aprillstout: that sounds cute!!
@SavBride: i bet peach margaritas would be fine sitting in batches.. we are doing the same thing with the batches, and I am hoping to do watermelon or something instead of regular margaritas!
@jmaze: we are doing a DIY bar too i believe, unless we magically find a bartender! we will just have beer in coolers, wine, and 2 signature drinks in drink dispensers.. another cool idea is a DIY mojito bar or something where you set everything out and they make em right there.. i believe it was on Martha Stewarts diy weddings

Since our wedding is oceany/underwater themed, we’re doing an Ocean Breeze and maybe a Tequila Sunrise.
Do you think the sunrise is too.. beachy? We aren’t doing the beach thing with shells and sand and browns.

We are having wine too….Boxed wine..But I think we will empty those in some kind of Glass beverage server like this:
Also, we are having a few kids at the wedding, my kids are in the wedding also – so I have to come up with some ideas for them too. Something fun for them to make, and easy. We are thinking Shirley Temples or something.

posting so I can follow… I would like to do some sort of yellow drink, like a twisted arnold palmer, but I still need to find a good recipe!

My venue doesn’t have an alcohol license so we have to get a special event license and are doing beer/wine/champagne only.
We are trying to come up with a signature drink, but since we can’t use liquor I’m not sure what to do!

@Chrysoberyl: I think a Tequila Sunrise sounds perfect! It makes me think of the sun rising over the ocean. (Plus they’re yummy!)
We are doing a St. Germain French 75 (gin, St. Germain, lemon and champagne) as the bride’s drink and a Whiskey Fix (whiskey, lemon and simple syrup) for the groom’s. Still trying to come up with cutesy names, though. Suggestions?

@MissCountryGirl727: Do something like a punch or a twisted lemonade. What are your colors? Favorite juices? Start with that and google some recipes. With “non-alcoholic” in the description.
ETA I just saw that your wedding is in Autumn, How about this Autumn Punch recipe?
