It seems as if EVERYONE is doing the colored shoes now. I was originally going with red ones ( I had bought them even before I started dress shopping), but the dress I ended up with is a flowy chiffon number and now I feel like the red would be too noticable and detract from it. I’m leaning towards these ivory heels. The ruffle matches my dress perfectly. Anyone else wearing white or ivory?
My dress but in very light ivory:

Yup, doing white shoes. Couldn’t find a good wedge in yellow like I wanted so I gave up. Would’ve been great though! :/

I’m wearing white and changing into bright converse for the reception. When my dress got altered it was shorter than I was picturing. Originally I wanted bright shoes but due to the shortness of the length I’m now wearing white. I’m fine with it really. In the end I think whatever you choose to wear will be beautiful!

I am! I was originally going to do a blush shoe, since that’s what the bridesmaids will be wearing. But I decided ivory is just more classic. Also, I’m wearing my mother’s dress from the 70s, so I think it needs a classic/vintagey shoe. After changing my mind multiple times, here’s what I decided. With each choice, the heel height got lower. It was gradual because it was hard to give up the higher heels I love for not being taller than Fiance at our wedding. I love them & can’t wait to order them!!!
I’m having a hard time adding a picture, but here they are 🙂

Mine are ivory! I didn’t even think about colored shoes really… I am wearing a ballgown so I don’t really think my shoes are going to make any appearances out from under it haha I did modge-podge the bottoms with champagne colored glitter to add a little something for my accessories pics though.

- Wedding: May 2013 - Pavilion overlooking golf course scenery, reception at banquet hall
Mine were ivory! Uncomfortable as hell, though. Better than other heels, but my feet were cramping pretty hardcore throughout the night.

I searched high and low for white or ivory shoes…harder than I thought it would be! I ended up with a very bridal-eque ballroom dancing shoe! I had certain requirements that normall bridal shoes were just not meeting…and then I found these! Perfection!
