I personally haven’t (& not planning on it) but one of my friends did a honeymoon fund.

She just put the link on her website and I think her parents also helped spread the word. She also had a very small Target registry for those that didn’t want to do the Honeymoon fund. In the end almost everything on her honeymoon fund was bought and a few things on the Target list. She was very creative with the Honeymoon registry which I think really helped out. She got very detailed and put stuff for “$10 afternoon mojito for Sophie” and “$80 massage for Dan”.

there are tons of threads on here about this. i used http://www.honeymoonwishes.com and loved it.   the best way to announce it is if you have a wedding website and you put a link there.

we have a honeyfund!  we also did a traditional registry (although it’s smaller than we otherwise could get away with given how large our guest list is) but I just have the honeyfund link listed on our website with the other registries. so far everyone we have talked to (even some of the older guests, which is who I was unsure of) have loved the idea of being able to buy us fun excursions and activities on the honeymoon!

I have not looked into it yet…but I know I want to do one!! We own a home together and already have everything we need…so to have help with our honeymoon would be awesome!!
