It is funny because I was just chatting with my Fiance about how much I loved colored crinolines and would like one and stumbled upon 100% silk crinoline on ebay today in my size.
So I have read all of the tutorials but most have come out a rich deep color and I am looking for a pale robin’s egg blue or soft apricot or blushing pink.
So has anyone gone for pale colors and how did you achieve it?

I would think getting the right color would be based upon finding the right color recipe to go along with the weight of your garment. If you use RIT dye you can go to their website for hundreds of color recipes as well as even ask the experts there for any expert tips. If you can, find similar fabric in the same weight and do a trial run before attempting your crinoline. God luck!

I aso am looking to do a light blue, but I am thinking it might just be easier to cut out the layers above the knee and sew in light blue tulle! Im not sure how it would work, but i may try it here in the next few weeks!
