Nope, I definitely have more shoes than my Darling Husband.  How many shoes do you have and how many does he have?

Yes Darling Husband has way more shoes. He loves shoes. I like shoes a lot but he is obsessed. He has two of the same pair of shoes just so that neither of them gets too dirty. Our wedding colors were based off of a pair of his shoes!

Nope, I definitely have more – although, he probably wears more of a variety than I do… which reminds me, I need to go through and purge shoes I haven’t worn in for some time (I am way too sentimental with my shoes!!)

Definitely not. In fact, I had to beg Darling Husband to a) get a pair of reasonably nice shoes for business-casual outings, and b) get a pair of truly formal shoes for the wedding. And I had to take him out shopping each time to help him pick them out. He also recently bought a pair of sandals for our honeymoon.

Other than those, all he had when we started dating was his pair of brown sneakers he wears EVERYWHERE, and a pair of steel-toed boots from when he worked in a mill.

I’m pretty sure my shoes outnumber his by at least a dozen pairs, but at least he has all the staples now.

Darling Husband definitely likes to buy work shoes, though I have more shoes overall. I find myself in the “manly” role by thinking “how many pair of black dress shoes do you need?!?” Of course, it’s different when you’re a girl because you have to think about flats and mid-height heels, and high heels, etc. All his shoes are the same height and are worn with dress pants and a button down shirt!
