Oh my gosh YES! I LOOOVE Etsy! I wish I would have discovered it sooner than I did to be honest, LOL!  It’s the best, isn’t it! I bought my bridesmaids clutch bags from a seller on there (themadmonogram) and many other things including the gift for my Maid/Matron of Honor, mother of bride, mother of groom, flower girls… etc.

I’m looking for a gift now for my groom πŸ™‚  I want something special, but honestly that’s the only department I’m having trouble with. I always sing “You are my sunshine” to him, so I wanted to incorporate that, but I’m having trouble : Are you doing a gift for your groom??

Definitely. Once I realized all the amazing DIY things that I didn’t actually have to do myself I was all over it.

Oh man, I’m obsessed with Etsy.  I bought my bridesmaid gifts (jewelry, personalized mirrors, extra earrings) on there.  I also bought my garter, among other many non-wedding related items.

I loved etsy before the wedding but I never bought anything.

For the wedding I’ve bought:

  • invitation samples (none of which I ended up going with)
  • I Do/Me Too Forks <3
  • Bridal hanger
  • Sweetheart table runner
  • Cake topper
  • Garter

I have gotten top-notch service from everyone I’ve dealt with.  The lady who made our forks makes other stuff and I wanna buy other stuff from her.  o_o  I am just trying not to buy addiitonal stuff that’s non-wedding related at the moment.

Just sent SO a list of links to rings I like as “suggestions” (his idea!) and shock and awe- all of them are from Etsy. Every. Last. One.

So far I’m just getting lace sashes for my bridesmaids. But I still have a lot of time for more purchases πŸ™‚

So far I got my veil, cake topper, FI’s cufflinks, and silk cream petals from Etsy. I’ve been looking there on a consistent basis for the other stuff I still need/want to get πŸ˜€

I will say, though, one seller inspired me to do my own silk carnation pomanders because she’s the only one I found that makes them with the carnations. Problem is, she kept increasing her prices every couple weeks or so. Turns out making them on my own cost about half, for more pomanders, of small AND large sizes, and they look great! Also only took a few hours… and considering she was going to make me pay for “rush,” I was a little irritated at her for that, haha πŸ˜› Sometimes it IS better to DIY!

I just made my first ever etsy purchase Friday. I can’t wait to get it. I’ve heard nothing but good things.

I’ve bought a ton of stuff and am on there almost every night revising my favorites. I love that website!

I bought my dress off Etsy πŸ™‚

We are also getting our cake topper, Fi’s cufflinks, The Bridesmaid and groomsmen gifts, The bridesmaids dresses(maybe), A Mrs. Hanger, My headband and that is just what I can think of off the top of my head!
