@katlovesjames:  Here is how to relieve the guilt. Just think of it like he is buying a a necklace, or earrings. Nothing said he was buying a ring. You don’t actually know it was one. The other day I grabbed my bfs phone to play with it while he was in the bathroom, I didn’t even turn it on before he jumped onto me about it saying “nooooo you can’t look in my phone I was looking at some thing I wanted to get you and hadn’t cleared it yet.” My bday was a few days ago and he already gave me a gift, but, it ended up not being jewlery or anything. But, he had made it clear beforehand that he wanted to get me something shiny and asked what my fav color was. He admitted that in the end he didn’t have the money for it.

( Anyways, moral of the story, the guy was thinking a pendant or something and because of some circumstances it was a little out of his price range so he couldn’t get it for me. Don’t be so quick to jump to conclusions because if you put too much thought into a guy’ research, you might over analyze and think its more then it is.) Don’t feel guilty for seing the site, just don’t get your hopes up. Live in the moment, don’t have any expectations and be surprised if it really is πŸ™‚

@katlovesjames:  There are still lots of surprises your way then! The ring is only part of the proposal, you don’t know what the ring looks like or how it will happen. Hopefully he doesn’t wait too long though, I feel you might go crazy πŸ™‚ As I would!

@katlovesjames:  Oh yeah, I went into his backpack to pack his lunch because we were running late for work and I stumbled upon my ring box.

I felt so guilty that I had to tell him…Don’t ask me why, I just blurted out : “I’m sorry I went into your backpack, I think I saw something that I shouldn’t have seen!” I was blushing, sweating and my heart was racing like crazy.

This happened on a Tuesday and he proposed on the following Tuesday. Those few days were HELL ! lol

Good luck Bee, it’s happening ! Such exciting and happy times !

I did the exact same thing. I use my SO Ipad all the time. I open up the internet and it’s right there in black and white.

You still don’t know how or when he will propose! So it’s still just as exciting!

The ring box was in his carry on and I went to get a bottle of water that he had put in the carry on and found the box.  It was all his fault..he should have never put the water in the freakin’ bag if he didn’t want me to find it.  I still didn’t know when, how or what the ring looked like. also I heard him talking to his mom just hours before he proposed, again all his fault πŸ™‚

Haha yes I did this! Before we were engaged, I accidentally took his phone to work with me. We had the same phone and they were sitting right next to each other and I just grabbed it, dropped it into my purse, and went on my merry way, thinking it was my phone the whole time. At work, I took it out to text, opened up the messages, and before I knew what I was looking at, I saw the last message he’d sent on it…a message to a female friend asking her advice on how to propose to me on my birthday. OOOOPS!

I just pretended like I never saw anything and the proposal was still super sweet. πŸ™‚

I found the payment in SO’s email by accident. I thought he was going to wait until my birthday getaway to pop the question (mine’s on 23rd October :D) but he surprised me with it two weeks later because he was too impatient! I’m glad I didn’t have to wait that long
