Don’t worry, you still have 5 months – that’s just 1 to 2 pounds a month!

I just ordered my dress. It’s coming in mid-April, and my wedding is in June. I was a little worried, considering that my dress is a zip up, so I must really try to maintain my weight. But I’m not going to worry too much over the next few months. I just started exercising and focusing on eating lots of fruit/veg.

I ordered my dress months ago, and it won’t be back to try on again till March. I have gained 7lbs. since they took my measurements. I am so worried!!! I’m pretty small to begin with and have really stayed the same weight for years now, I don’t know why I have all of a sudden put on some extra pounds. Maybe the stress of trying to plan this wedding! Idk, but I weighed myself within 3 weeks of eachother and I had gained 3 more pounds. It’s really freaking me out! I’m gonna be like a stuffed sausage in my dress! lol

I’m also really scared to try on my dress. 🙁  I’ve put on christmas weight and I also ordered a size that was pretty snug on me (I only needed to lose an inch off my waist in order to get this size) rather than buying a big dress and altering it everywhere.  I’m just praying I’ll lose this weight!  My dress arrives in March as well! EEEEEEEEK!! Embarassed

As scary as it might be, it is better to find out what the situation is NOW while you can do something about it!

@Jamcnair:  Agree! That way you can assess the damage now and motivate yourself to fix the problem (if any)

I am SOOO worried too!

I ordered my dress in June, and when the consultant took my measurements, she told me I was a 12, which sounded just right. However, I told her that I was planning on losing 5-10 lbs. because at the time of the dress selection, I had recently slacked off on my exersize thanks to 3 straight months of sinus infections and asthma issues.

BUT ….. I’ve actually gained a little weight since then.

Frown

I lost my job, dealt with unemployment, and found a new job, which I like, but it’s really hard and my schedule is TOTALLY different and I’m having a hard time adjusting, so I’m having a hard time fitting in exersize.

I just started a yoga class last week, though, and am planning on doing cardio over the weekends so …. sigh. Hopefully the dress zips up when it’s due to come in in January or February!

Fingers crossed!

I am…I tried my dress on and the modesty panel snapped and I could still lose weight and it will just corset tighter. Since the holidays I feel like I have gotten fatter. I ma the same weight but I do not feel as toned as I did when I was going to the gym 4 days a week. I know that have several months though so not tooooo worried.

My dress just came in and I tried it on Saturday (of course this was after eating all kinds of yummy holiday food and it being that time of the month!) the fit wasn’t horrible, but not as great as it could be. I’m using those pictures to get my butt back in gear and lose those 10-15 pounds I’ve been promising myself I’d lose since this summer. Here goes nothing!

no worries, you have time to lose the weight. If you worked hard enough you can drop that weight in 1-2 months in a healthy way. But I would start hard now– it will take away a lot of your stress. Good luck bee, you can do it!
