@emersynsmommy35:  Did you mean to put Gentry James in your girl category? SealedUndecidedI’m not sure about Ettison, it’s a bit too out-there for me, especially for a girl. For a boy I like Nate a lot, and Tobias as well. What about Thor for a boy!?

I like Gentry James.  She’ll probably end up being called “Gen” by her friends though and forever correcthing them to “Gen with a G”.

Ettisyn matches your daughter’s name, but I don’t really like the sounds of it (personally).  Though Etta for short is adorable.

As for boys, I’m likeing Elias Nate or even Oliver Nate!

He hates all my names. I like Benjamin and Lyndon. He said they were horrible. Lillian, Alice, Elisa? NO those are all old lady names!

Ugh. Lol its going to be a terror when we actually have to decide.

I have always always said I would name my future daughter RoseMary after my wonderful grandmother whom I love very much! Fiance however… he hates the name!! :/

Thayer is a unique name, I dont believe I’ve ever heard of it before. 🙂 I have a friend whose little boy is named Titus, its very original and he’s super cute! lol

Since you asked… I am not a fan of either of those girl names because they sound like boy names.

I’m not crazy about Tobias. Oliver is fine. Nate is a nickname, to me, so I would go with Nathan/Nathaniel. I also like Elias.

Elias Nathan? Nathan Elias? Nathan Oliver?

Yeah, I love making names up too!

We’re looking at Amnysty Star for a girl, and Cougar Star for a boy.

Yes! My SO is a Jr. and his first name starts with D.  He mentin once that our future son could be a III’d generation and we could call him D3 (yes, as in Mighty Ducks!). Surprised

I personally don’t like the whole Jr., III, IV generation stuff, it gets confusing enough between him and his dad!

For a girl, I’ve always wanted to name her Maggie after my Great Grandmother, who was Margaret, but we all called her Maggie. Neither my SO or I like the name Margaret, but I love the name Maggie.  He thinks it’s too old-lady like…

For a boy, I like Oliver, Henry, Nathaniel, of course SO likes none of them! LOL

@emersynsmommy35:  My cousin named her little boy Thad…may be a compromise?

Ha, I love the names Lilian and Alice. Old lady names for the comeback!

Tobias Oliver is quite lovely. What about Nathaniel instead of Nate?

I love Benjamin!

I sympathize. My Darling Husband has very certain ideas about what he wants for theoretical names for theoretical baby. We can’t agree at all on our girl names yet and our boy names are a bit of a struggle.

I like Gentry James! Ettisyn sounds pretty, but the spelling is a little crazy.

My own name is unique- Justine, and I’ve never had another one in the same school as me. So I always wanted my children’s names to be somewhat unique also.

Darling Husband finally gave into my girls names and were not even pregnant yet;

Harper Marie- I love Harper and thought it was so cute when I first heard it 3 years ago. Now it’s popping up everywhere, but I still love it

Aubree Alyse- I hate that they have both increased in popularity the last few years but I’m sill in love with both of them and I’ll take my chances.

We have our differences on boys names though- I like the “L” names;

Lane, Luke, Leo and Levi

DH’s fav is Tristan but to me it’s been over used as a girl’s name.
