I got engaged in late November, so I was relatively rushed… But I feel basically done with planning. Waiting for a florist (my mom has to go in and show them the photos I have, compare prices, and pick), my dress should be done in little over 2 weeks, and there are little details (like how to distribute birdseed – really inane details) but the venue, caterer, photographer, clothing, officiant, invitations, decorations… all pretty much done. ‘Course, I’m kind of low key (I want paper tablecloths so we can draw on them with crayons), and not terribly concerned beyond “will everyone be fed and sheltered”…
Also… Anyone else not really care about the wedding, but just the getting married part? (I made my first purchase from our joint account today – two bottles of wine. One for dinner, one for me. He told me to use the joint account.)

I am getting married May 29th and feel like I have the majority of everything done and have for a while. Now, I am just focusing on the “little things” to make it that much more special. I am excited for the wedding and the marriage. My family is a lot of fun but we are so spread out that we don’t see each other very often. I am glad that this will bring everyone together again! and then naturally I am excited to spend my life with my fiance!

I do! We literally have EVERYTHING done. We have already been engaged for over a year so we had a good head start. We bought FI’s ring yesterday and my shoes come in today. Our invites are all ready to go and waiting to be sent out (We are sending them mid-March). All I have left to do is order the favors (which I will do online), take our engagement photos (next weekend) and do my hair and make-uptrial (next weekend). Before we know it, it will be here!!!!!!

I’m done!!! We’re having a Weddingmoon in Negril, Jamaica. The resort I’m marrying at has basically handled everything for us and the experience has been great. Since it’s not the traditional wedding, there’s nothing else for me to do except shop for some fun bikinis!!!!

I feel like there I must be forgetting things…since I’m not busy with much at all. I’m sure it will feel like crunch time soon (I’m waiting on the things I need specific guest numbers to do)…but I’m nervous that I should be busier than I am!!…

– Wait for RSVPs to roll in and start tracking
– Small decor items like guest book, table numbers, etc.
– Paper for day of: programs and “donation in lieu of favor” cards
– Book train and car rental for honeymoon in Spain
– Tasting next month!
– Boudoir shoot next month!

We got engaged in December 2009. We finally picked a date November 2010. And we will be getting married may 28 2011. Still need a few things but have a pretty short list:
1) grooms shoes
2) write vows
3) order flowers
4) slideshow (finishing this weekend)
5) cupcake stand (dad’s making us one)
It feels so good to have the majority of things done.
