I have been trying to eat healthy and cut back but….DANG! Before I “start” its like there is a never ending pit in my stomach… Today is one of those days.. I have been keeping it to healthy foods though so I don’t completely want to kill myself by the end of the day… 🙂 Please tell me I’m not the only one like this..

Oh man, YES! I feel like a bottomless pit and want to eat everything in sight! I have discovered that TONS of water and hot tea can help curb it 🙂

I’m the same way! Right before my period I eat everything in sight. I’ve already had lunch, but I’m still craving some food :/. Thank God there’s no more of it in the office or it would be in my stomach!

I thought you meant “start” a diet. And I was going to say yes, I always like to binge eat before I start a diet! 🙂 I want to eat all the goodies I know I’ll be deprived of for awhile!
But if you meant the other “start,” then no. I don’t get the munchies during that time of the month.

I would ahve to say, yes, I hit a bad-food craving overload jsut a few days before. And during… and a day after. Sucks for the diet.

For me it’s the opposite, I don’t want any food at all. It disgusts me to a strange level. I just want to crawl into a ball and die.

I find myself craving all sorts of things. I try to satiate the cravings, making sure I’m getting enough protein and healthy fat – and, yes – tons of water. I always crave red meat the week before… my body is wanting that iron!

Not when I am about to start but when I am hungover, I binge all day long! No matter how much I eat I can’t fill the pit! (Hopefully this won’t be considered thread jacking!)

Oh yeah, definitely me. And I totally get the classic chocolate cravings. So weird.

Yes! Apparently you burn 300 more calories per day during that time so it makes you VERY hungry! I try to keep things like popcorn, carrots, etc that make me feel like I’m eating something crunchy and filling with fewer calories.
