My dress has spagetti straps and I am having them make thicker straps.  Every seamstress I talk to doesn’t understand why…

BECAUSE IT’S MY FREAKING WEDDING DRESS THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

I am doing the exact opposite! I have crystals on the strap and I think I am going to replace it with flowers. Mine also has crystal details on the side but I am leaving those

Mine has a flower at the thigh area which I want to have removed and I’m adding a sash/belt at the waist instead.

Yes. Mine is a beautiful organza layered gown, with chantilly lace appliques, but not enough. SO I am adding more lace appliques and beading and crystals.

I have a bow on the front of my dress which i am removing and adding a crystal sash. I am doing this because i feel like the bow clashes with my other bold accessories. I thought everyone would hate the idea (because the bow is really cute and trendy) but everyone actually loves the idea! yay

The seamstress at the bridal salon where I bought the dress is going to use part of my train that I am removing to make the flowers for my new strap.
