Thank God for the TTC boards here because I cannot discuss things like this IRL without people looking at me like I’m mad. (I’m also an avid reader of Bees’ birth stories…shhh!)
So the other day I was on my train home from work and I was day dreaming about how I would announce my pregnancy, who I would tell first, their reaction etc. I completely MISSED MY STOP! It took me 40 minutes extra to get home! Now it should be mentioned, I am not pregnant. I’m not TTC. I’m waiting to TTC (is there an abbreviation for that?) until after the wedding next year.
Tell me this sort of things happen to you!!

I’ve been daydreaming ALL day!! Baby fever has hit hard this week. One of my good friends just told me that she was pregnant and I was like awwwwwwwwn!! 🙂 We’re waiting to TTC also!

Can’t say I ever had baby fever until I got pregnant lol. Enjoy the next year before TTC – it will go by fast and once you’re pregnant, your life will be forever changed!

@linnylou_88: Yes. Even though FH and I are in no way ready to have a baby I’ve been thinking about names a lot. I think it’s because I found a baby girl name a few weeks ago and I was like ‘Yep. That’s the one.’ I actually kind of teared up a little bit and now I’ve found a middle name too. Shame on me.

all.the.time. I have TERRIBLE baby fever. But I’m the weird one that has wanted to be a mom since I was like 12! I feel like I’ve always known thats what I’m supposed to do. I want to foster/adopt after as well.

@linnylou_88: All. The. Time.
We are TTC and this is our second cycle. Although I do go from intensely crazy baby fever to fear of “oh my gosh we are going to have a baby.” I have always wanted to be at the end or nearing the end of my first trimester before Christmas as I have all these fun ways of telling the in-laws, sending out a Christmas card with a baby stocking etc. Ugh, come on October!!!

Oh, man. I have had baby fever for about four years now. Mr. S and I have been friends for a long time, so he knew this full well when he started dating me. Our mutual friends teased him about it initially (“So you’re dating S now? You know she wants kids really badly, right?). He wants kids as well, but it’s important to both of us to be married first. I’m a bit OCD about planning things, so I already know that, ideally, I would like four kids, two of each gender (we plan to adopt two of our children, so planning this is quite possible) and I already have a pretty good idea of their names.
Just last night, we were sitting on the couch, watching TV, and without preface, I just started in with “What do you think about this name? Well, what about this one?” and he just answers, rolls his eyes, and asks if we can discuss something else, haha.
I’m also the only childless one at work. I get my baby fix with my coworker’s six-month-old and she’s happy to talk about babies all day with me, haha.

We are TTC and it’s all I can think about. Like all the time. I’m surprised I can still function in my daily activities.

Yup!!! Since buying our house last month, I think about it more and more!!! I’m really starting to get the baby rabies! BUT, we aren’t TTC for a while.

Yesssss… (raising both hands in the air!). We are waiting to TTC for about two more years, which seems ridiculously far away right now. And I think about it every. single. day. nonstop. I have lists of names, secret Pinterest boards, etc. It is the worst form of procrastination.

@MissKonaCoffee: Me too. My secret pinterest board is my sanity.
