I started it a couple of weeks ago but my schedule makes it difficult for me to do it every day.  I love it though!  The first time I did it I was really sore the day after.  It’s a great workout.

I bought a few of Jillian’s dvds, including the 30 Day Shred. I love that it’s only 20ish minutes!! I’ve been alternating amongst the different workouts so that it doesn’t get boring. I’m excited to see if there are any changes in my body (because after my 1st one, I wasn’t sore). Good luck to us all, girls!!

I’ve done it. I saw some results, but moreso with inches and the mirror than the scale, so I recommend getting a soft tape measurer to keep track of your progress because between the water retention and muscle growth, you may not see much change on the scale and that can get discouraging. I should mention that with myself and pretty much everyone else who’s done the Shred and seen results, we did it on top of other exercise. For me, that was Shred everyday in addition to 4x/week of about 1 hr. various other exercise (running, mostly).

You can do the Shred every day if you like (with a day off per week), although most people do it every other day because of muscle soreness/joint issues.

Oh, and as with any exercise program, if you want to see results, your diet has to be on point as well–if you are consuming more calories than you are burning, you won’t see results. So eat healthy!

I tried it for a few weeks and didn’t like it that much.  I like No More Trouble Zones by Jillian Micheals more.

I agree with JennyW1 that diet is a really important part!

I started two weeks ago and I have definitely lost inches already. I’ve also changed my eating habits so I’m sure that helps too. Level 2 is really hard, I’m scared to try level 3!

I’ve been doing it for a few weeks now but I only do it a few days a week and go to the gym the other days. With 1-2 days off a week to rest. Although I can’t tell any difference even between all the working out & eating better which really sucks!

I did it about 3-4 times a week and watched my diet carefully.  My job keeps me on my feet and walking over 10 hours a day, but no other exercise beyond that.  I never liked Level 2, so I switched between 1 and 3.  I also watched my diet very carefully.  I dropped two solid clothing sizes.  However, I’ve been a slacker on all fronts so I need to get back to it.

I did it with a mix of some of her other DVD’s it doesn’t do the exact results but its good. I suggest insanity if you want the results quoted by Jillian.

Oh and its a good warm up for the insanity because you do some of the similar moves only harder. It depends if you really want the pounds to melt off or you hope they do. I lost about 5 pounds with the 30day shred. I killed the other 10 with insanity.

I started the 30 day shred and a couple of times and would just slowly stop by like the 5th day.  I would take advantage of the fact that I had it at home and could do it whenever I wanted to.  Those times were when I was getting fit to be a bridesmaid. Now that it’s my wedding…I am very determined to lose some weight and get fit.  I will be starting this evening for sure!  It’s a great workout, just have to keep up with it!  🙂  good luck fellow brides!
