I wore Enzoani Dakota. It’s not as “vintage” as the gorgeous one above, but it was all lace and very romantic.

My dress is a shortened casablaca 1900.





ETA: I would also check out dollycouture.com if you have not already.  I loved a lot of her dresses, but was too scared to order without trying on.

I wasn’t intentionally going for vintage chic, but that’s what people seem to say about my dress when I show it to them, so I’m going with it.  I’m kind of overwhelmed by accessorizing it, so having a theme is helping me narrow down choices for shoes, veil, jewelry etc. Jim Hjelm 8663.

I’m deciding not wear the champagne sash with it, and will have my grandmother’s pearl/aquamarine brooch on the waistband.

I’m wearing the Maggie Sottero Bernadette in “Ivory over light gold.” I’m accessorizing it with deep red satin “Nina” shoes, a birdcage veil and fascinator, and a single pearl necklace. Honestly, I could not be more in love with my dress and my vintage NYC elopement!
