I tried it a few months ago! It is sooo intense and hard!!

I’m starting today my ‘lifestyle change’….I just need to drop about 20 pounds but gawsh it’s hard. I’m also debating whether or not to join weight watchers!!!

Maybe we can burn off our extra lbs together 🙂

I was doing p90x but as always I fell off when I got sick in April. From that time I was on and off with a cold until the beginning of June. I have to say when I was doing it, I loved it. It really does kick butt but not as intimidating as it looks.

If you stick with it, your body will be in the best shape ever. Good luck!

You’ll need the videos, the workout bands (you can get at any store with workout equipment) or dumbells of different weights. Different workouts you will need a chair, a towel and even a paper plate. I hope this helps!

LOL… It is used for a certain type of push-up that is done in the second month. You put your hand on the paper plate and it is easier to slide your arm into different positions.

I did at one point, as I mentioned earlier I fell off when I was sick. Anyway, to me the food is delicious even though it is healthy food. I actually still use some of their recipes. One of our favorite is the Pear and Granola Muffins… Yummy

My Fiance started P90X the first of January.  He was religious about the workouts until, like RoddyBride09, he got sick & had to stop working out.  Still, in the two months he was doing it, he lost about 25 lbs and had so much more energy.  Those workouts were intense!  I’m trying to encourage him to get back into it by offerring to join him.  He didn’t try the meal portion of P90X, but I think that would be one of the best parts!

Oh my god. I started P90X last october and am addicted. It’s ass kicking but amazing and it has totally changed my body.
DO IT GIRL. It’s as hard as it looks and the results are as amazing as they advertise. It’s serious dedication but once you get going it’s SO empowering.

I started P90X in March have done it on and off. I did it for about 2 months  i went from a 8 to a 5 idress size. I tried on a bikini and my fiance said you look good but you would look so hot all toned lol. I am starting again on Monday because i am freaking out about my arms for the wedding. I love P90X, its just when my period comes i cant work out it hurts 2 bad so i stop and then it all goes all down hill.

P90X HELP!!! My wedding is 2 months away (nothing like waiting until the last minute, I know) and P90X is arriving to my house today! I’m 5’3″, 125, in pretty good shape & I eat really well, but I’d love to get down to like 115 – 117 in 60 days… What are your thoughts that I’ll actually have any chance of achieving this?? Please, if there is anyone out there who did this with a similar situation I’d love to hear from you!

I did P90X last winter and I LOVED it – I am going to do it again this winter! I think I got to week 8 and then got sick and dropped out – I would really love to make it all the way through!

I did the diet while I was on it and I couldn’t do the high protein (the first stage of the diet) It caused me to have painful gas (so painful it hurt to work out) but it even says in the book that some people have problems with high protein and to just skip that phase so I went straight into phase 2. When I do it again I will probably just stick to my own balanced calorie counting diet because i think the change in diet might not have helped with me getting sick and all!

@KMDM1010 – I think you can do it! All it takes in motivation and will power and P90X will REALLY tone your arms! BRING IT!!!!!!!!!

@KMDM1010-  I think you can do a lot with P90X in 60 days– the only thing I would be cautious of (so that it doesn’t derail your efforts) is the scale.  Because P90X is so muscle intensive- you’ll hear from a lot of people on the boards, etc the the scale doesn’t move much (or may even go up) in the first 30 days (I’ve heard you lose the most actual weight in the last phase).  This is because you’re putting on more muscle and even though the muscle volume looks leaner than fat, the same volume weighs more.  But I promise you’ll be very tone and may be very happy with where you are, even though it may only be down 5 pounds or so.  I’m in a similar boat– trying to lose the last 10-12 pounds (my wedding’s the week before yours) and P90x is going to be a big part of that– mainly bc I’m trying to tone up the shoulders, arms, back big time!!  Good luck!
