Same!! It feels like there isn’t much now, but maybe closer to the wedding there will be more?

The things I have left to do:

– Finalize Guest List

– Send Save-The-Date Cards end Aug/early Sept

– Buy mason jars for centerpieces

– Wedding party attire

– Seating chart (UGH!)

– Get quotes from florists

– Book a DJ

– Dress alterations

– Pick & order invites

– Menu tasting & finalization

– Meet with pastor for ceremony details

– Meet with rental company for backdrop & some decor

– Finish a few DIY projects

– Make program

– Order confetti & sparklers

I probably have more, so maybe I still have stuff to do but most can wait until close to the wedding. Making that list reminded me to do a few things! lol I’m sure the next 10 months will fly by, hopefully!

I don’t have a lot left either.

-men’s attire

-choose wedding invites

-get limo

-have my fittings

-finalize menu

-finalize guest list

-finalize cake

-sent out all invites

-put together favors

-finalize song list

This is nothing compared to how huge my list was. Lol

Yup! We just found out a few weeks ago that we’re moving halfway across the country, so the last vendors we needed to book (transportation and hair/makeup) we did in record time. So…now we wait ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m actually having fun designing a million different versions of save the dates and wedding invites. I’m glad I can focus on these because there are so many fun options out there.

I feel like there isn’t a lot left to do, but what I look at my wedding checklist, there is a lot of not checked boxes.. LOL

@SparkleBee11:  you can send save the dates now. Anything up to a year before is fine!

I feel like everything major is done, but there is still quite a bit to do when we get closer to the wedding.

I don’t have very much left either. Here’s what I’ve done so far:

booked venue (which includes ALL our other vendors – she does everything! flowers, DJ, cake, it’s a one stop shop!), resort (destination wedding, but the wedding will be off-resort), officiant, photographer, picked videographer (waiting to hear back to book)

our photographer and officiant both gave us some “homework” to do to get to know us better since we’re all long distance that we have to do sometime soon.

Save-The-Date Cards have been ordered, i got everyone’s addresses, we will be mailing them out this week, i will put them together tomorrow

what I have left to do:

we’re hoping to do a site visit in february where we will discuss decor with the wedding coordinator and do a tasting to finalize the menu. i’ll just keep pinning images of things i like until then!

pick and send invites (likely doing passport invites that i’ve already picked off etsy) ask our bridal party to be in our bridal party, dress shopping, bridesmaid dress shopping (although I found one on etsy I think I’m going to use), seating arrangements once i get my rsvps back, book hair/makeup person (will try to do a hair/makeup trial when we do a site visit), pick groomsmen attire, get gifts for bridal party (likely paying for an excursion while there) and parents..

honestly, i don’t even know what else? i’m not dress shopping til dec, i’m pushing it, but i think i can make it work.

we’re really relaxed about the whole thing, we just want everyone to have a fun time and for it to be one big fat fun party and awesome vacation for everyone!

anyone see something glaringly missing from here?

I feel the same!  I’m doing a lot of DIY (flowers, centerpieces, church decor) so I want to get started on that but then I remember I have to store all that for 9 months without ruining it!  Now I’m spending a lot of time of Pinterest/Etsy and getting all these ideas of things I want to add to the wedding–this down time might be really bad for the wedding budget!

@agrinste1:  Oh yes, long engagements means lots of time to browse for things that aren’t ‘necessary’. Fiance is about to kill me over that (not really, but he is mildly exasperated.) haha
