I’ve complained about wedding planning before, but I think the part I don’t like is not having the time to complete tasks. I’ve come to kind of enjoy crafting for the wedding, but all of that gets put on hold while I’m work. Boo for work. Part of me wishes that I could take a month or two off leading up to the wedding.
By the time I get home from work, after all the house chores, I’m too tired to get much accomplished. Yesterday, I only had the energy to address 3 invites. 🙁

Totaly! I do a lot of planning during work already and my work is behind! At this point I feel like sleeping for the next 30 so days before the wedding just to be in the mental and relaxed state I want to be in. LOL

@coffeegal85: I had all my breaks at work filled with wedding chores and missed lunch too many times. In the end we’re behind on the final prep and 7 days to go to the wedding. I’ve told my Fiance that he’ll have to help me.

I feel like you should get wedding leave, like maternity leave. lol

It only bothers me on days like today, when I’m putting in 12 hour days! I told my boss to only put me on one project during my wedding planning, and they tried to accomodate me, hopefully after today it will be less hectic.

I totally agree! Heck, the past few half hour breaks that I’ve had at work I don’t even eat. I use that time to wedding plan lol. I say they should add a month for wedding planning to our full time benefits!! Hey, a girl can dream right?

I was almost out of work for a few months last year (got hired a week before my severance date at the old job)! and I was looking forward to having some time off around the holidays and wedding planning. Everyone else I know who planned a wedding long distance did not work while doing it!

What bothers me the most is when work is slow and I am just sitting doing nothing. I feel like I am literally wasting valuable time but there’s nothing I can do. Work is slow, but I can’t leave because then I wouldn’t get paid–and I need that pay to help pay for the wedding. I don’t bring too much wedding stuff to work because it looks bad to my boss. AHHHHHHH!!!! It’s a viscious circle!!
