Hi, I had the Colorless hearts and hearts from moissaniteco and yes I agree about the intense rainbow sparkle. However I didn’t see it in every lighting situation just mainly bright artificial lighting. Mine was an E color and at times I felt it was just too white, like whiter than a D color diamond if that’s even possible. So white that sometimes it almost looked slightly blue. I did love the cut though! So yes I do understand your disappointment. I sold mine because it was just too big and for the reasons stated above.

I’ve only seen pictures but personally I think the near colorless looks really good! Still looks colorless to me but not icy and bluish. Some bees have them and they’re stunning!

snickerwickens :  no problem! I’m wondering when people are referring to it not having as much disco ball effect if they’re comparing it to the round brilliant F1. Of course the round brilliant would have smaller but more flashes of sparkle at once than a Hearts and arrows due to the differences in cut. But I think no matter what the cut is, it’s going to have more rainbow sparkle than a diamond because of the material. But anyways, If my hearts and arrows moissy was a stand in ring I definitely would have kept it.  for everyday wear, it just wasn’t for me. Would you mind posting a pic? I’m not sure if I’ve seen your H&A moissy yet!

I ordered a colorless, unbranded H&A in 7.5mm after reading rave reviews on here. I admit I was disappointed. I have a diamond ring that is 10 years old, and thought another style might be fun to have another option. I don’t think that anyone who looks closely (and is familiar with diamonds) would confuse it for a diamond.  I appreciate moissanite as a lovely stone, and if someone in my acquaintance buys one I will (easily) recognize it.

I have not seen one in person, I have the orginal F1 and in artificial lighting it does throw color like mad. I like this though and I find it awesome but understand why others may not. It is a quite in your face rainbow explosion lol but most of the time that is not the case through out the day in my experience anyways.

I was watching a few videos on instagram of the H&A stones and they looked quite discoball like to me, mabe more so then my regular F1 because the fire was more chunky if that makes sense? Can not be the judge since I have not compared the 2 side by side.

snickerwickens :  I have the unbranded certified near colorless h&a stone. I have not experienced the disco ball effect or the blue tint because my h&a is an h in color. Under artificial light it does sparkle more than usual but no more than a diamond with great cut. I own both this stone and forever brilliant round forever brilliant cushion and an unenhanced orc. My h&a stone definitely sparkles but it is totally more subdued than the splintery cut of my FB or the chunky facets of my oec.

snickerwickens :  I am willing to bet that it could possibly be the problem. When c&c had the h&a previously alot of people hated the cut or complained for various reasons but alot of people also  loved them. I guess it’s in the eye of the beholder. Have you considered exchanging for the unbranded certified stone? Please take pics so we can see the issue…By the way thanks for the compliment on my ring!

Following this thread and several others because I have been researching and deciding which, if any, moissanite to pick, and I found this newly posted video on YouTube comparing the regular F1 and the new F1 H&A https://youtu.be/0vLLjOFeJV0

To me, at least from this video, it appears the H&A has less of a disco ball effect than the regular F1, but it’s certainly still present, and more rainbow-like than a diamond.

It’s been super informative learning everyone’s opinions and experiences, so thanks! Just posting this for anyone else like me trying to decide 😊
