Not me on the frump by choice per se.  I love makeup and dressing up.  But I have put on some serious weight since law school and I am being forcibly shoved into frump lol.  I am tryna get out of it though.

Me! I am right there with you. I got laid off at the beginning of january which really sucks. I have been taking a graphic design class at the community college, but its only twice a week.

I keep telling myself that I need to workout today but I havent got the motivation to do that yet 🙁 blah

I found myself in the same situation in the fall so i completely changed my haircut and did a little shopping, it felt soo good to get out of doing the same old boring look everyday.

@HoneyBear: I am also struggling for motivation to workout even though i tell myself all the time that im going to get back into it everyday, it’s so hard!

As weird as it sounds, it was easier for me to workout when I was busy with a job lol

At least I had a routine and schedule

@HoneyBear: I 100% agree with you.  When I was unemployed, I lived in my pj’s and was constantly on the phone and searching the internet.  I didn’t go to the gym since I was afraid of missing the all important phone call.  I find that I work better on a schedule.

I am in the club too!  Unemployed as well.

I am growing out my hair and am not using any heat or harsh products on it so it is a little ugh.

I dont have a job so I wear leggings, tank, and sweatshirt EVERYDAY.  Hey, it is just good that I get dressed everyday.

And I dont work out much so I have gotten pretty mushy.  I use to be able to suck in my tummy and hold it flat.  Those muscles dont work anymore.

I’m not unemployed and I’m in the frumpy club. I find it hard to find the motivation to put effort into my look. I think it’s mainly because I see all these girls with such cute style and I don’t think I can pull off half the stuff they do, so I just get down on myself. I wear what I know. Jeans & t-shirts.

I wanna step it up, but it’s so hard. Can’t someone give me a personal shopper & an unlimited budget?

Oh, and add me into the unmotivational workout group too…. I keep telling myself. I will start tomorrow morning! and never do.

wah!

It must be something about not working or being in a routine, I have been focusing on school and mostly taking classes online so I’m home everyday and I have to force myself to straighten my hair and put some makeup on.

I’ll admit to being frumpy! But I will say…I’ve always been this way, hahaha. I’m just … low maintanence on the physical side. (I wouldn’t say the same for the emotional side.)

@HoneyBear: Why is it that having more time to workout and work on our appearance makes us not want to do it? But when i was working I rushed around in the morning getting ready and worked out every night?? Every morning I decide it wouldn’t be good to start working out today because….(fill in the blank with any excusei can think of that day)
