Hello, sweetie…

My boyfriend got me into Doctor Who for the first time last season, so Matt Smith is my first Doctor. I’ve gone back to watch all the Eccleston and Tennant, but Matt Smith is for sure my favorite (although Tennant is absolutely fantastic).

We just watched the premiere a few minutes ago and OH. MY. GOD. I won’t ruin it for the Aussies, but it was great. I’m going to be crazy every week having to wait for the next episode!

@Misfit: You know, there are ways to watch the show online before next week… Not that I would EVER recommend them because they’re technically piracy. Never! I would NEVER send you a private message to tell you what kind of software to download or what websites host the video or anything. I’m not that kind of person.

But if I WERE that kind of person, I’d advise you to look around online and see what you can find out. Because you could be watching it tomorrow. πŸ™‚

@sarasouth: Oh it’s such a shame that you would NEVER do that… not that I would EVER look or download it anyway, that would be horrible!!

But if I also was that type of person i’d be very happy to watch it tomorrow. πŸ˜›

I just watched it tonight! My best friend and her Fiance along with my Fiance got to watch it at 2 p.m. today and I had to wait until 9 when I got out of work.

It really was a crazy episode.

I am so excited for dr who… I will not be watching tonight….because I’ve just discovered the doctor… I’ve started with the reboot, and am in the frist season..don’t worry that means I’ll be caught up in three weeks ( the Fiance and I are big tv folk and go through tv like no ones business ahah)

So Question for those die hard Doctor fans… where should one start watching the show? I understand to start watching from 1963 is 772 epi and that turns out to be 1 epi a day for 2 years…but like I’ve said I can plow through tv, so should I start at the start or is there a dr I should start at?
I have no problem back tracking either I’ll watchEccleston and go forward, but then when I run out I can alway go back to the very start….

I’d start with Eccleston or Tennant. They’re probably easier. I’m a newbie Dr Who fan too but i plan on (eventually) going back to the very beginning. I started half way through Tennant. It worked for me!

Enjoy!! I love it!! (i have to buy them eventually on DVD)

I would start with Eccleston. That’s what I did and I haven’t felt like I missed anything. It was the re-boot, so that’s where they start explaining things more. They don’t assume you’ve watched any of the prior seasons.

I am so jealous that all of you are able to see the new season!!!!

We cut our cable down to bare minimum (but, will probably cut cable completely). So we don’t get BBC America.

Hope you all LOVE IT!!!!!!

@ktk: maybe you can watch it online somewhere? there has to be somewhere you can see it. I know that some websites don’t work in different countries though… good luck!!
