So, I’m not even a blogger myself. I actually hate writing, and am definitely not very good at it. But I can’t stand when the Bloggers Bees get selected and then just stop blogging altogether!!! Drives me up the wall! I mean, there tons of other brides that would love to be a Blogger Bee, but you got chosen instead, and then just flaked out! Not right at all. They’re taking a spot of a well deserving bride that might actually finish what they started and stick to their commitments.
And to top it all off, in the past few months 2 Blogger Bees who so rudely stopped blogging came back and promised to finish up. Only to disappear again. <br />*sigh* We wanna know what happened in your weddings!! Stop leaving us hanging!
Vent over.

YES! Me!!!! I get so annoyed with this too!
And I am not interested in blogging as a bee either.
I feel bad for the other people who apply and don’t get it, then have to watch as Bees stop blogging, then coming back, then leaving again!
Also several months without an update, and I forget about their details.

Actually, since the website was updated I don’t follow the blog at ALL. Terrible, I know, but when I come to the homepage there is a featured story that stays the same for days on end so I just click the link to the boards without scrolling. On the old site there would always be new posts right at the top and something would draw me in. If there was someone I had been following closely though I can see being annoyed by it.

I don’t read the blogs at all. How many times can you read about someone choosing their flowers, or invitations etc.?
You can get all the inspiration you need elsewhere on the net.

It does seem weird that so many of the new Blogger Bees seem to be going MIA.
Two of my favorites, Weathervane and Waterfall just finished up their recaps, so I will miss them.

I don’t usually read the blogs here, but there are blogs I follow. It does suck when someone just stops, but they don’t owe me. Life happens and it’s not like I paid to subscribe to a blog or something.

CanadianBride456: I am more about reading the boards. Something has to really stand out for me to read one of the blogs. Typically it only comes up in a google search when looking for a particular thing, not because I am searching the blogs. But I do agree that it is rude if it takes the spot from someone who could be productive and helpful.

julies1949: I’m not looking for inspiration, I just like following along with their wedding planning!
AB Bride: Thats true, we’re not paying for a service. I just find it rude when they stop because they have taken the place of someone of might have actually wanted it and stuck with their commitment.
LAB: Waterfall is one of my favs! Pyramid is great too! I’m looking forward to her recaps!

CanadianBride456: I feel like ever since the website changed, the same blogs are kept up for days. I’ve noticed there aren’t as many blogs or bloggers. To be honest, I don’t even look at the blogs anymore. I just come straight to the boards!

Yeah, I think a lot of it has to do with the update. I’m sure the bloggers were just as unhappy with it as the rest of us. Phone Booth has been MIA forever, Goose is pretty sporadic, and I would love to see more from Milk Cow, because I like her a lot. I don’t think I’d be able to do it, so I don’t mean to be throwing any shade, but I like reading their stories.

luluvohn: I agree, I don’t think I’d be able to do it either….which is why I haven’t applied. But these brides know what they’re getting themselves into!
We also have Duck who said she’d do her recaps for her now deceased photographer and Cruise who would fill us in on her somethings gone wrong wedding day. Cruise is the one I was lookinh forward to, because I wanted to know what went wrong! I’d also like to know why Milk Cow changed her venue. All she did was mention it in a sentence and never even explained why.
Maybe some of them will see this thread and feel bad ans start posting again. haha!

There was a Bee who was doing a WHOOOOOLE big Disney planned wedding, BM’s were going to be in princess costumes, she was studying religious something-or-other, had glasses, for the life of me I CAN’T remember her moniker but she was just gone one day. Poof, like forever. Anyone remember “her”…I felt like she was on for a month or two.

Nay1976: I believe it was Miss Bat and she left because she was receiving a ton of hateful messages bashing different choices she was making for her wedding. She even started receiving them on her personal blog. I don’t blame her for leaving – she was getting more negative comments than positive ones and people were pretty rude/harsh.
