I’ve been the same way! Not as adventurous but I’ve been thinking how I want to do like reorganize closests, finish scrapbooks from our honeymoon/wedding, and my new one is moving out of our rental home which seems to have something new wrong with it daily. I’ve barely known a month we are expecting, so I can only imagine what my “to do” list amounts to! Good luck with yours!

Nope.  I was just PMming with a friend on here (hi friend =o) ) and we were discussing how neither of us has had any sort of nesting instinct.  For me this definitely includes the “to do” list.  Not sure why.  There wasnt much I wanted to do that I hadnt done prior to getting pregnant, so maybe thats why I dont feel compelled to do any of it now.  But I dont have that or any sort of desire to do the baby’s room or clean or any of that stuff.  I hope it kicks in soon, Im almost at 32 weeks! lol

For me it has gone up and down over the couple of months.  At first I think its almost a panick thing of OMG, I will never get the time to do these things, but as I get closer I realize that yes, life will go on after the baby if we don’t have a perfectly manicured lawn before the birth.

i’ve been the same way. im excited to get the baby room set up, but even more than that i’m itching to decorate our bedroom! we just bought our house last year, and started with decorating the living and dining rooms, and im so tired of looking at plain white walls and not having the furniture we want/need. now that the baby is coming, im afraid decorating our bedroom won’t be a priority for a looong time! sometimes it feels selfish, but i want EVERYTHING to be in order for his arrival 🙂

You can still do those after the baby comes! We have a camping trip planned for when the baby is 3 months old.

I tend to want to do things that I can’t do now that I’m pregnant. My friends will talk about going on rollar coasters and fun things like that and I just sit there silent.

LOL, no. We live in a freakin’ construction zone because the contractor takes his sweet time, so most of my projects are leftovers from way before I was pregnant. Although, I suppose I’m more naggy because now I feel like we HAVE to get the bathtub in before the baby comes, whereas I would’ve just dealt with the wait before.

I didn’t get the nesting urge until about 7 months in. I was like a crazy possessed madwoman until I got the nursery painted and the house scrubbed within an inch of it’s life.
