We got married on our 8th anniversary. Well, actually, the day before because our anniversary fell on a Monday and we wanted to be married on the weekend. Close enough…

Yep! We’re getting married on our 7th anniv. of dating, May 19 2015. It’s on a Tuesday unfortunately.

Originally we picked May 1 because 1.)it was still in the same month 2.)it couldn’t be near memorial day, and 3.)it couldn’t be around Atlantic Bike Week. This was when we were still getting married in my hometown of Myrtle Beach, SC. May is just a terrible month there. Violence, stupid tourists, overbooked everything, etc.

Then we had a venue contract conflict and decided to just have a small, simple wedding here in TX and then we can visit Myrtle afterward. So now we get to keep our anniversary! I’m pretty happy honestly!

We didn’t, even though I would’ve loved that. With everyone’s scheduling it would’ve been really inconvenient because it fell on a week day. Plus, the venue we ended up going with only allows weddings during certain months because the weather can be really flim flam otherwise.

My cousin did- and I think it is really cute!  Our anniversary was January 29th.  We wanted to get married in Chicago, and half of our guests would be flying in for the occasion.  Getting married in the dead of chicago winter when most of your guests are flying in seems like a recipe for disaster.  Plus, fun fact we would have had to have a 9 year engagement for our anniversary to fall on a Saturday…. yeah a bit much.

We got married in July- July is a great month for a wedding.  So many in season flowers, and not quite as many weddings as May, June, and even August.

We are trying to do the same thing.  We first met 9 Oct and have celebrated that as our anniversary, even got enaged on that date, so we are planning a wedding for 9 Oct 2015!

Almost.  We started dating August 4th and got married this past August 2.  August 4th was on a Monday this year so that wouldn’t have worked.  My husband actually picked the date as we met with the church and the priest was telling us all the summer dates they had available and DH suggested August 2 since it’s closest to our anniversary.  🙂

Yes, we’re getting married on our 6 year anniversary! We didn’t get engaged on our anniversary, but I didn’t want to celebrate our marriage anniversary on a different date…since when we started dating is the real beginning of our relationship.

We got married on our fourth anniversary weekend, one day after our dating anniversary. It wasn’t intentional from the start, but we knew what season we were looking for, and the date was open. It was pretty sweet, and people think it’s very romantic!
