AAAAAAHH! I mean, seriously. For one, Roberto is amazing. And he was just SO committed to her from day one.
Two, they fell in love and she had to wait a whole whopping 2 MONTHS for a proposal.
THREE… Neil freaking LANE just walks in and hands him a freaking NEIL LANE RING.
And then they have this magical, romantic proposal and live happily ever after!! **
GAH!! I die.
I got so anxious for my own proposal that I literally lost sleep over this one. For reals. (don’t judge me. lol) Anyone else have this ridiculous of a reaction from that silly show?? I know some of my waiting ladies can sympathize!!
** Well, at least until next season. Yes, I know it’s just TV, but let me hang onto my fantasy alright?!! 😉

If it makes you feel any better. They’re relationship will almost certainly fall apart in 6 months. And yours will last.
i mock it. but i definitely watched last night. lol. oooh Roberto 🙂

LMM: I got SO swept away by the B’ette finale scene 2 years ago I WENT ONLINE AND APPLIED THE NEXT DAY to be on the show.
AND HEARD BACK FROM THE PRODUCERS (they called).
It didn’t end up going anywhere, which was good because I met my Fiance 2 weeks before I would have had to leave to film it, but trust me, they engineer it specifically to make you feel that way – it’s psychological warfare!! Keep your feet on the ground and know your time will come, and yes, it will last. 🙂

Ha, we watched a proposal episode of Weeds last night and it was so cute, it sent me into a silent tizzy! Curse those proposal scenes….

Those shows always put me in a tizzy as well. The ridiculous rings those girls get really knock me out. 🙂

Haha, yes, I was going waiting crazy while watching that too! My bf was watching it with me and part way through asked me what was bothering me. Apparently I was sitting there pouting and didn’t even realize it. I played it off like I was fine, but ugh, I wish he would just propose already! At least watching that episode together allowed me to bring up some engagement stuff (maybe I shouldn’t have, but I couldn’t resist trying!). When Roberto was picking out a ring, I casually said something like, “boy, how does he even know which ring she will like? he probably has no idea.” My bf started talking about how he would never just pick out a ring, and how couples should go out together to look at rings so that the guy can get an idea of what the girl likes. I felt like I should’ve been happy that he would take into account what I like in a ring before buying something, but I was sooooo crushed. I had had my hopes up that he would propose while we are in Mexico in two weeks for our two year anniversary, but I have never gone ring shopping with him or told him what kind of rings I like. So apparently he is not proposing. I feel like the trip is ruined, but I know I need to just enjoy our vacation!

I watched the finale with boyfriend. (We both agreed that Chris was a catch and that Ali made a huge mistake.)
As much as I can’t imagine being engaged to someone after knowing them for only two months, and as uncomfortable as I would feel at such a public proposal, I did pine a little bit.
@purplebee: I did the same thing! When Roberto was picking out rings, I wondered aloud how he would even know what kind she likes, as women have really specific and particular tastes about engagement rings. I said that I thought hers was nice. Boyfriend grew alert. “Oh? What about that one do you like?”
I didn’t tell him anything. I know he isn’t going to propose for a least a while yet and I just can’t let myself get as excited as I know I would over nothing.
