@MissBMarie1428:  Haha I did the same thing, tested at 8dpo and 12dpo. Both were negative, then I got AF. Knowing I have no self control over stopping myself from testing, I ordered some cheap Wondfo PG tests from Amazon. Not sure how reliable they are yet, but it feels better spending like $0.50 on a test rather than like $6 or whatever they are.

Haha oh let’s be real, I also bought more of the expensive ones to confirm after I (hopefully) get 2 lines one of these months ๐Ÿ˜‰ My TTC spending knows no bounds, lol. I’ve just stopped shopping for clothes as often to negate the PG test expense, because I figure I won’t be able to fit in anything I buy now for very long. Here’s to wishful thinking, haha.

btw, these are the cheapies I bought: http://www.amazon.com/Wondfo-Pregnancy-Test-Strips-25-count/dp/B0002YIQEQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1337031462&sr=8-1

I was a total nutjob when we were TTC.  I bought the cheapie amazon tests as well because I swear to god, I tested daily from 9 dpo until I got my period every damn month.  I tested so damn much by the time I actually saw a second line I thought I was hallucinating! Luckily I got pregnant month five or I’m sure I would’ve eventually lost my friggin’ mind. Buy the cheapies and don’t waste money on the fancy ones until you get a positive.

The el cheapo internet sticks always make me feel less guilty about being a POAS fiend. (Even though it makes me crazy!!!!)

I like to ignite the crazy, so I’ll tell you that I got my positive 9 dpo.  ๐Ÿ˜€

I second the dollar store idea. Or order the internet test strips and wait until they come in, then they will be super accurate hahah

Definitely buy some Internet cheapies if you anticipate a penchant for testing early and often.  At 20 bucks a pop I would feel guilty about doing it so often, but when I look at my drawer full of 40 opk/10hpt combo packs theyre just calling for me to pee on them ๐Ÿ™‚
