Your body may surprise you … stress can really throw your period out of whack. Just try not to worry about it too much. You won’t be the first, nor will you be the last, bride to have to deal with this. And I’m sure your Fiance will be able to deal with it too. He’s marrying you, after all.

Are you taking the pill? I would skip one period by throwing away the pseudo pills and go straight to a new pack.

Why won’t the pill work?

Yes I was stressed about it, because that was about the time I was due, we were also going to Vegas for the honeymoon right after and I didn’t want to have to deal with it.

I ending up skipping it.

Found out later that it was because I was pregnant.

Just make good use of your hotel room shower with your new hubby and you’re laughing. It’s a fact of life. Luckily it shouldn’t be an issue for me (unless my body goes totally whack between now and then) but if it did, we would just work around it.

It’s a part of life and one we can’t control. If it’s too late to use the pill to delay then don’t worry and just go with the flow… sorry for the horrible pun lol.

Best of luck, like the others said, it’s a way of life and at least you have a long honeymoon! 🙂

Looks like the same will be in the cards for me… Sooo I will be doing just what Danicalifornia said and going from pack to pack, skipping those last “fake” pills or what ever they are.

My wedding day should be the very last day, so it should be pretty much almost all gone.  By the time we go on the honeymoon the day after the next day, it will be gone.  My periods are regular enough and our engagement period is short enough that I could actually predict, and so scheduled the wedding to avoid it!

Now if you are on it during, uh, special moments, I’d like to recommend something like this:

http://www.cvs.com/shop/product-detail/Softcup-Feminine-Protection-Cups?skuId=214411

This is not the brand I’ve tried, but I tried something similar.  You insert it into your vagina and it basically slides over your cervix.  If you put it in right, you can’t feel it.  And you can have sex without the blood.  He can’t feel it either, I don’t think.  It’s pretty great!

The pill only takes a week to “kick in” if you are referring to when you can have unprotected sex on it without risk of getting pregnant.  You have a month before your wedding – I say get a Rx today! You need to start taking it right after your period, though so hopefully that timing works out for you!
