Me!!  Why do it?  There is so much music out there you can find amazing and beautiful songs with a little effort.  Me thinks people are just lazy and uncreative.  This is one way to not be cookie cutter ladies!

But there are some churches that only allow certain songs.  So maybe I would understand it than.

Love Pachelbel canon! lol Ever since I saw it in father of the bride, I just thought it was so perfect. It makes Fiance and I happy when we hear it so I think it will be a good fit.

*raises hand* me I can’t even stand it.  I must find something else to walk down the aisle to.  I already told my Fiance and he was like, ummm I didnt expect you to use “traditional” music anyway.

I wouldn’t say I hated it, because I’ve always loved the song, but I was very glad we found something that was more *us* for me to walk down the aisle to (Here, There and Everywhere, The Beatles).

I’m not a big fan of it. I like the song in general, but I don’t plan to use it for my own wedding. Now, if I could find a fun hip hop version that’s not too crazy, then maybe I’d go with that 🙂

I’m pretty sure I’ve already found a contemporary song that I’m going to use. Haven’t discussed it too much with the Mr. yet, but I’m the one walking, he’s only waiting. Hehe.

We found songs for the processional/recessional that fit us… I SOOOOOO couldn’t have gone with the canon d/here comes the bride selections.

We used:

“I Will” by The Beatles for the Bridesmaid or Best Man on piano sung by a guy friend of ours

“So Are You To ME” by Eastmountainsouth for Me on piano sung by a girl friend of ours

“All You Need Is Love” on piano sung by both

We actually used the version of “can’t take my eyes off of you” from 10 Things I hate about you sung my Heath Ledger!!! We had a really short aisle, so the 20 some seconds for the slow part was the perfect amount of time to get me down the aisle, and everyone thought it was really cute and originial!!

Cannon in D was my favourite piece of music from when I was a little girl in ballet.  So I used it for my entrance……you have to go with something that’s meaningful for you.  Who cares what anyone else thinks, it’s your wedding!

I think I am going to walk down to “I can’t help falling in love with you” elvis. we got engaged out on a rock jetty and it was playing from somones boat, not planned by the Fiance but the last detail that made me ball!

I am totally in this boat. I almost don’t care what it is as long as it’s not one of those. I have no idea what to do. All the music I like is sort of sad. . . Right now I’m leaning toward Classical music, but who knows.

I don’t hate it, but I’m not a fan!  It’s too traditional for my taste.  I’m walking down the aisle to the instrumental version of Come What May from Moulin Rouge.  The movie we watched on our first date 🙂 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6E4Vo944sQ

@vmblai1019: It’s a song by a Christian artist, Matt Maher. It’s called Hold Us Together, and I think it’s just such a fun and catchy song about love. Sort of more of a celebratory song than a formal song, but that’s so us 🙂

I think I’ll walk in to the first half of the song, and then use the bridge on for our recessional (2:10 on).
