Ok when I opened this thread I was expecting a frumpy, kind of sad looking dress but WHAT are you talking about, I think it looks great on you! The lace pattern is beautiful. I’m sorry you feel that way, I think it’s a gorgeous dress and looks fab on you.

@brittnamrogo:  lol I was thinking the exact same thing. Then when I saw the dress I thought “What? She looks AWESOME!”

Once you try it with all the accessories and all made up you’ll look beautiful! Of course we’re all our own worst critics.

Your dress is awesome and you look stunning in it. Totally not what I was expecting to see after reading your post.

It sucks if you don’t feel confident in the dress, but be assured that you look BEAUTIFUL and your dress looks like a dream 💛

What do you mean the new pictures doesn’t look that different from the earlier pics? The new pics are gorgeous, not that the previous pics were not good. I love the alterations you did, especially the buttons at the back. I wish I had that on my dress. You’re going to look amazing on your wedding day!

Those accessories are fab! I love the rose gold, and I think the headband especially is going to really compliment your look and go well with the lace on your dress. Great picks!

@devonrenee:  Between your cute hair cut and this headband you’re going to look like Carey Mulligan in Great Gatsby. Seriously you look gorgeous!

Wow, you look gorgeous. Sausage?? What are you talking about??? This dress hugs your curves in all the right places and fits you perfectly. You look very classy.

Also, just wanted to add to what others posters have already said- picking out some accessories that feel like “you” and getting your hair and makeup done will elevate your look even further and hopefully make you feel more comfortable.

Your alterations have made a world of difference! (And I didn’t hate the dress in the first place)

Keep in mind it will feel a lot more ‘dressy’ once you have your jewellery/shoes/makeup. You look amazing and your accessories will only improve it.

If you’re still missing the train element I would add something like this > https://www.etsy.com/au/listing/734116982/ls102sparkle-cape-drap-cape-bridal-cape?ga_order=price_asc&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=bridal+cape+veil&ref=sr_gallery-1-44&pro=1&col=1   imo there is nothing more powerful than a woman in a cape haha

@devonrenee:  I LOVE the dress and i think it’s really flattering on you! The accessories you gave picked out are prefect. I think as PP mentioned, a birdcage could look nice too.

You look lovely. I think with the right accessories you will feel better. Your bride will not be able to stop looking at you.
